Review of "Tony Hawk's Underground (PS2)"
I'm a student with too much junk to review and not enough money! See more about me on my site http://www.redsquirrelwebs.com
This is my first skateboarding game for the PS2 so i didn't really know what to expect. I think that it is a very good game, graphics are fine, the gameplay is amazing, the plot is ok and the music is fantastic.
This is one of few skateboarding games that you can play as a girl, the graphics are ok but i have seen better on the ps2, the building are graphically good but the cars move and drive like bricks.
The plot is the traditional 'working your way to the top' with the help of your 'friend' the missions are all similar to one another and as you get further through the game they get progressivley harder.
The sound effects are appropiate and the music is fantastic, as they are all real songs. My favortie being 'Like the Angel by Rise Against'.
There isn't anything about this game that makes it much better that other skateboarding games. I would say go and buy a newer game like Project 8 or Proving Ground. Also I noticed that the listed price for this game is very high, it would be worth looking on ebay or in a shop.
