I like reading about celebrities and I am not a great fan of Kerry's but after reading the back I was intrigued. Just by reading the back it felt like there were similarities, but then again a famous person telling us they were down and outs, like a jenny from the block, ermmmmm how true could this be.
I had to buy it now, so got it home and read the Acknowledgments and was hooked. It starts when she was just journing into a teenager and then starts from her being a little girl leading up to the worst memories of her life. She explains about her mother's childhood and what she thinks lead her own mother to be the mother she was and to why her mother tried to commit suicide all those times. Here life with Brian and her fondest memories of their family life, to her life now with her boyfriend Mark and her 3rd baby. Kerry tells you the ins and outs of all the little details that make you feel like your actually there, the photo's also help you see the people as you are reading, which is a great factor to a book. You get a real understanding of each person in Kerry's life and what they went through.
This book has got the grip factor, the way it is written is very good and very easy to understand. When you finish a chapter you have to move on to the next chapter. It can bring tears to your eyes, especially if you really understand what she is talking about, which most people have ether been through some of the same things or been close to someone that has.
It didn't make me feel sorry for kerry but made me understand her much better, you can understand after reading this book the way Kerry is and acts. No one should make excuses for things in life but as a child this leads you to being an adult and some of your childhood can rub off and take you to places you never thought you would.
Kerry has won mother of the year twice and you can actually see why after reading this book. Her family is her life and just like any person would do anything to keep it, but sometimes when this doesn't happen we can act in the wrong way or and up with depression and this was Kerry Katona. She is human just like the rest of us, makes mistakes like the rest of us and loves her children unconditionally.
It is printed in good size lettering and does not have very hard words. The flow of reading is very good. A must read book.

Review of Too Much, Too Young: My Story of Love, Survival and Celebrity - Kerry Katona
Advantages: Very Honest And Talks Openly Disadvantages: Skimmed over some areas
...when I got Kerry katonas too much too young I was intrigued to see what she was going to say about her life so far! ok for people who dont know kerry katona used to be in a band called atomic kitten! the band was made up of 3 girls. i personaly think they were very cheesey but others out there may disagree!!! once she life the band ( because she married brain out of westlife) the band became even more well known thanks to the song whole again, after ... ...bands of there time and had a string of number one hits.
To be honest I thought it was going to be her ranting and raving about her mum, her ex and other celebrities that over the years have put her down. How wrong was I! She starts the book with her winning im a celebrity get me out of here and how she that winning moment felt but quickly takes you back to a evening that reads very scary. She talks about her mum and her partners violent relationship ...

Advantages: Makes you realise that celebs are normal people that do go through much more than we think. Disadvantages: There are none.
...Kerry had to grow up too fast - She never knew what it was like to be a child until she got away.
Now when i look into the smile i see on the TV i see a completely different person - I see a person that always wishes to be loved - Someone that has been betrayed so many times that she can no longer trust.
If i ever had the chance to meet Kerry id tell her how proud i was and how great she has done for HERSELF and her children.
It really annoys ...

WOW! this story shocked me! I never knew Kerry katona had been through so much in her life- it explains alot about the person she is now and her search for love and security.
Having grown up in a home ocupied by foster children and seeing the damage done, the repairable and the not none repairable it was amazing to see a celebrity who had been through it.
My parents fostered for 17 years, i was 6 years old when they started. we took in teenage ... ...time they have 'grown up' and are 'wise' or so they think.
Kerry saw, heard and dealt with things no child should ever experience and yet somehow she's come out the other side to tell the tale. You travel with her throughout her life. Good and bad times. You share her pain, Her wishes, Her dreams and her tears. you connect with her and begin to see the girl we all know as ' an atomic Kitten' as a troubled, normal human being in the quest for success ...

...I don't want to give too much away by telling you all the stories she tells but they are good and she doesn't really call too many people off unlike some other celebrities do in their books. I particularly liked the parts about when she was on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. I would recommend this book, especially if you can pick it up in a charity shop. I look forward to reading the next installment... watch this space. ...

...young age, married a heartthrob too young and sank to the very lowest point after he left her, but is now building a triumphant, independent life of her own. It's a book with an incredibly moving, inspirational message. This is a gripping read with an totally uplifting end.
A book which takes you on a journey through Kerry's life and by just reading the first few pages, you can not help but feeling a sense of pity towards her as a child and by the ... ...overcoming all the obstacles she has been through. Kerry relates to the extremes she went through all her life just to be with her mother and how she kept up with all the heart-aches and fame. Kerry, is an inspiration but she unfortunately is always in the press and its never really good press. I cannot wait for her next book, especially as she now has a new husband and four children and is still dealing with her family selling her out along the ...
