...so here are my 12 top ten websites.

I have been off school since my exams in June, most days I hung out with friends or worked at the hotel but then other's I was quite ill, so I'd spend quite a bit of time on my laptop, just searching the web and a lot of these I came across. As most of you know after reading my reviews I am a big fan on music & film, so a lot of these have something to do with that.

...in the box at the top and it'll come up with a page dedicated to it. If it's an actor/actress it'll give you information about themselves, like when they were born and then will give you TRIVIA about the actress.

Below that it'll give you all the films that they have been in. If you click on one of the films it'll take you to that specific page. I use this site a lot to tell me if a movie is worth going to see or not and at the top ... more

DESCRIPTION: This site is mainly about American television shows, I use it a lot to check up on my latest shows and see what episodes are coming up next. It shows all television shows like Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, Bones and even some classics like Sex In The City & Friends. The site gives you a summary of the show, an episode guide, pictures from the show and it also has a forum which you can talk about your favourite show with other people.

ADVANTAGES: It's easy to use, and gives you a lot of information about your favourite shows.

DISADVANTAGES: I'm not too keen on the way it's set out, I think for such a popular site they can do much better.

OTHER: This site is great for information on any TV shows; it's even got a site for British shows such as Eastenders and Corrie (Yuk).

DESCRIPTION: I'm not a really big fan of this site, it's slightly boring and you get some mean people on there. I like to draw and my mates said why don't I put some pictures up on their that I've drawn and I got a comment the other day and this girl (cow) said that I obviously hadn't drawn those pictures. She got shown the next day believe me.

Back to the site, you can write a bit about yourself, and put what music you like and what films etc. Then you can add friends, I have over 50 and I don't even talk to half of them. Like I've said before you can upload pictures, I've put up some brilliant ones from my end of school.

The only interesting things about this site, is you can put a flash box with your favourite music and can do quizzes which just get boring after a while.

The reason I've put it on my favourite 12 is because even if I don't really enjoy it, I still go on it because it's a good way to talk to mates who don't have MSN.

ADVANTAGES: Good place to talk to mates.

DISADVANTAGES: Slightly boring.

DESCRIPTION: This site is again aimed at movies, music, books & gaming, it's a cheap site and much better than sites like Amazon in my opinion. The postage is FREE and the prices are pretty good. Every month they have a good deal on, and you can get some fantastic DVD's for around £3.00 sometimes.

It sells all types of music & DVD genres and has every game imaginable, as well as those things it sells electronics like headphones, camera's and memory cards, it has most recently added two knew things, MOBILE & CLOTHING. In the mobile section it sells all the newest mobiles and you can get them ordered to your door for free.

My favourite section to look at has to be the Clothing, they sell both men & women's clothing, and the only problem is its all brands so it's pretty expensive, unlike the rest of the site.

It's a good site to look at for CD's & DVD's and you can get them pretty cheap and they arrive quickly. Even if they're out of stock, they'll keep you on record and get it sent out straight away.

ADVANTAGES: Cheap site with great deals. It sells everything from clothing to DVD's and all at a good price. The sites easy to move around and is fun to look around.

DISADVANTAGES: It's not as cheap as it used to be, they have to put taxes on there or something, so you can't get a new DVD for as cheap as they used to sell it which is a shame.

9) www.hmv.co.uk

DESCRIPTION: I love the shop HMV, unfortunately our nearest HMV shop is 15 miles away, which is a bit of an annoyance. The shop is brilliant and I have to be literally dragged out of there because I can be in their for hours.

So when my mates heard about this site, they decided to tell me about it so it'll save them having to wait around for hours trying to get me to come out of the shop. Like play.com it's free delivery, the only difference is the price. It's much more expensive than play.com which is a shame. I haven't actually used this site yet, because I buy most of my CD/DVD's off EBay now, but I'm sure they're quick to deliver.

ADVANTAGES: It's a nice site to look around, it's easy to manoeuvre and is fun to look at and it's free postage.

DISADVANTAGES: It's very expensive compared to Play.com.

DESCRIPTION: What an amazing site? I love it, it's all about movies and has A LOT of information on everyone's favourite actors/actresses. When you load onto the main page it comes up with NEWS in the entertainment world, it's fun to read and learn stuff from it. On the right hand side you've got 'BORN TODAY' which gives you a list of people born today, it's fun to see who has the same birthday as you.

On the left it's got a list of films that are doing well and ones that are coming out soon. You can put a name of a film or an actress in the box at the top and it'll come up with a page dedicated to it. If it's an actor/actress it'll give you information about themselves, like when they were born and then will give you TRIVIA about the actress.

Below that it'll give you all the films that they have been in. If you click on one of the films it'll take you to that specific page. I use this site a lot to tell me if a movie is worth going to see or not and at the top of the page when your on a specific page for a film you've got a rating which the public has given, this usually is right.

ADVANTAGES: Gives you information on all your favourite movie stars or films and tells you if they are good or not.

DISADVANTAGES: NONE, really good site.

This is a slightly smaller version of google, the only reason I use this site is for music download. Their isn't much I can say about this site other than it's a search engine and has a great range of music on there.

6) www.ebay.co.uk

I love EBay, it rocks. I've spent over £100 on there but have made twice as much. It amazes me what people actually buy on there, we once saw someone selling live fish. Don't ask me how. The sites great and easy to use, and you literally can get anything.

My mum & sister hate it so me and my nan have all the fun, she does it mainly and sells plants and calendars and I mainly sell unwanted gifts (blush).

It's a good site, but be careful you can spend a lot without even realising it.

ADVANTAGES: Easy to use and fun.

DISADVANTAGES: Scavs all your money quickly.

5) www.google.co.uk

Everyone knows Google, it's the best search engine in the world. It shows you EVERYTHING you want, from sites about television shows to travel sites, it's just fantastic. If you haven't heard of google.com you are seriously missing out. There isn't much I can say about this but it's just so kewl to use.

4) www.flixster.com

I've already done a review on Flixster, so if you want more information check my reviews out. It's mainly about movies and actors/actresses, it gives you information on them and pictures etc. The main portion of the site however is quizzes, every day thousands of new quizzes are made from around the world and anyone can take them to see how well they know movies.

It's also a good way to meet new people, I've made some nice new friends, however there is a downside, not everyone is sane on the site. I got one guy asking me to be his girlfriend and I had only sent one message back to him. It's not the safest of sites but it's fun to be on.

ADVANTAGES: Fun and easy to use.

DISADVANTAGES: Don't always get nice people on there.

3) www.ciao.co.uk

The only reason this isn't number one is because I have only been on here since August. So far I've done over 50 reviews and had only one survey today which I spent most of my time filling out, but then didn't get any money from it. Wasn't very impressed.

Still it's a good place to meet new friends with the same interests as you, I've made some great mates on here (you know who you are) and it's fun to talk to people you wouldn't usually meet.

ADVANTAGES: Fun place to tell people what you think and good place to meet new people.

DISADVANTAGES: Only had one survey and spent 15 minutes of my time filling it out, but then they ended it because they didn't like where I lived or something. Don't know.

Everyone loves you tube, my new college has completely blocked it because they found out that 95% of the bandwidth or something was used to play on you tube. Yes, everyone at my old school when a loud on the computers played on you tube, it was a fun site to listen to music and to watch videos that people have made.

There are some great creations on there and some very funny videos. As a avid guitar player, I've learnt most of my music from you tube, which is really nice.

It's a fun site to play around with and find decent video's ect.

ADVANTAGES: Fun and easy to use.

DISADVANTAGES: Not every video's on there.

AND FINALLY

1) www.msn.com

I love msn/hotmail etc, I can be on it all day just talking to my mates and having fun. I have gone to a new school and all my mates are at the same one I was at before, msn still lets me to talk them freely.

I also find it's much easier to talk to people through msn, I can have a conversation with someone for 3 hours when most of our conversations in the outside world would last three minutes.

It's easy to use, and you get to meet some lovely people on there.

ADVANTAGES: Great site, fun to use and great way to keep in touch with people.

DISADVANTAGES: Bad people can try and add you and if you accept your computer gets infected.
