Its that time of year again when I start cashing in all my survey, review and cash back sites on the internet. I tend to leave everything until this time of year, with Holly's 3rd birthday being just 5 days before Christmas and them Santa calling, it gives us a little extra cash to spend.

...is my list of my top 10 earning Internet Sites.
'''Number 10 - Home of Research - www.homeofresearch.com'''
This is a survey site with a £20.00 minimum payout and they have various different panels that you can join, (Home of Insurance, Pets, Banking, Motors etc.) and I receive about 2 surveys a week, however quite a few of them I am not what they are looking for. They tend to pay between 50 and 100 points per survey. ... ...slightly over a year to get to the figure of £31.35. I had read a few reviews saying they are rubbish at paying, so I was rather sceptical when I requested my cheque in August. It took just over two months for the cheque to arrive but yes they do payout. The site is currently under reconstruction (it has been for the last two to three months).

So here is my list of my top 10 earning Internet Sites.
Number 10 - Home of Research - www.homeofresearch.com
This is a survey site with a £20.00 minimum payout and they have various different panels that you can join, (Home of Insurance, Pets, Banking, Motors etc.) and I receive about 2 surveys a week, however quite a few of them I am not what they are looking for. They tend to pay between 50 and 100 points per survey. 1 point is 1p. It took me just slightly over a year to get to the figure of £31.35. I had read a few reviews saying they are rubbish at paying, so I was rather sceptical when I requested my cheque in August. It took just over two months for the cheque to arrive but yes they do payout. The site is currently under reconstruction (it has been for the last two to three months).
Number 9 - HPF - www.homepagesfriends.com (Previous mysearchfunds)
This is a search engine that uses Google for the searches and pays you for your searches. They pay 2p a search but you must click on the search you request. The results come up very quickly usually in 0.02 seconds. They have a minimum payout of £20.00, cleared after 45 days. I have £35.31 in my account and am waiting for my first payment of £25.42 to arrive in my pay pal account, however this is the second month of cleared funds, the payment from last month never came so this has rolled over to the second month. Again I am rather sceptical about this site when it comes to payment, so we shall have to wait and see.
Update - May 2009 They have eventually paid me just over £55.00 into my paypal account, however because the payment was over £50.00 Paypal took a cut - It only took them 8 months of cleared funds.
Number 8 - Mutual Points - www.mutualpoints.com
This is a cash back site and a clicking on emails site. They work in a points system with 1.75 points equating to 1p. The minimum pay is 3000 points which gives you £20.00. I have just received a cheque for £35.00. £15.00 of this cheque came from shopping on the internet or the recent addition of High Street shopping (if you use your registered Credit Card or Debit Card in either Superdrug, Halfords, JJB sports, Little chef or Cineworld you get 3% points back on what you spend). The remaining £20.00 came from email clicks. You receive 3 emails per day and if you read the email and click through the the participating site you receive 5 points (just under 3p). This is my second year of being with this site and I have never had any problems at all.
Number 7 - Lightspeed Panel - www.uklightspeedpanel.com
This is a survey site which pays in points. Most surveys pay between 110 and 150 points and I tend to get 1 or 2 surveys a week although again I don't always qualify for them. You can use your points to claim gifts, vouchers (£5.00 Amazon voucher is 550 points) or Pay pal vouchers (115 points is £1.00 into your Pay Pal account). I have managed to get £39.00 into my Pay Pal account this year and have only ever used my points for Pay Pal. It can sometimes take up to 4 weeks for the money to go into your account but sometimes it only takes a few days.
Number 6 - Dooyoo - www.dooyoo.co.uk
This is a review site where you can review various products rather like Ciao. You earn 500 Dooyoo miles (50p) for writing a review and 1.5 Dooyoo miles for a read (1.5p). They have various competitions and a crown system that also boost your miles. When you have massed 5,000 miles you can make a £5.00 donation to a charity of your choice, £10,000 miles gives you a £10.00 Amazon Voucher or 50,000 miles gives you a £50.00 cheque. So far for 37 reviews I have received £41.63. I have only ever used my miles for Amazon vouchers and these are normally received via email in about 1 week and I think it takes about 2 to 3 weeks for a cheque to come.
Number 5 - Global Test Market - www.globaltestmarket.com
This is another survey site but they are based in America. Again these use a points system, 1 point equates to 5 cents (approx 2p depending on the exchange rate). Their minimum payout is 1000 points. I receive about 3 - 4 surveys a week and each survey pays between 35 - 75 points depending how long the survey is, even if you do not qualify for the survey you receive 5 points. I have just received my cheque this year for £46.59, 1,750 points. The cheque can take around 6 - 8 weeks to come but the cheque is already converted to Stirling, in fact I requested this cheque the same time as Home of Research and this came about 3 weeks before Home.
Number 4 - Valued Opinions - www.valuedopinions.co.uk.
Yet another survey site but these works in £s. Some surveys pay as little as 25p but some pay up to £2.00. It takes about 30 days for the money to be cleared for you to cash it it. Their minimum payout is £10.00 in vouchers but they have a good selection of vouchers on offer (Tesco, Amazon, Boots and Argos to name a few). This year I have received £57.50 and have cashed in for Amazon Vouchers (they are received immediately via email) and Tesco vouchers, these take about 1 month to come via the post. I tend to receive between 1 and 5 surveys a week although again I do not always qualify. I have also received quite a few test products for which you receive a further payment of between £1 and £2.
Number 3 - iPoints - www.ipoints.co.uk
This site is a mixture of shopping, survey and email clicks. I tend to use it for my on-line grocery shopping on www.mysupermarket.com where I receive 1 point for every £1.00 of shopping of shopping delivered by Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda or Ocado. For every email click you receive 10 ipoints and surveys are normal between 100 and 200 ipoints. You can use your points to receive gifts or vouchers (they have a great selection of vouchers starting from just 350 ipoints for an EMI 2 for one album download voucher or High Street Vouchers (£30.00 Curry's Woolworth's or Boots for 7,400 ipoints). I recently cashed my ipoints in for £60.00 of Amazon Vouchers (8000 points for a £30.00 voucher) but I shopped through ipoints with Amazon, so I received more ipoints into my account. You do have to keep a check on the ipoints you receive for surveys completed as I find they don't always make it into my account and ipoints need a lot of reminding on this matter.
Number 2 - Greasy Palm - www.greasypalm.co.uk.
This is a cash back site for purchases on the internet. I have only used this site once and that was to renew my car insurance through them. Churchill had come out the cheapest for my car insurance renewal and Greasy Palm were offering double cash back if I took out the insurance with Churchill so I received £70.00 from Churchill, another £10.00 to renew my Breakdown cover with Green Flag and £2.50 for joining the site. It took around 60 days for the £82.50 to clear and receive the payment direct into my bank account and I can not renew my insurance with Churchill again through this site but there are plenty of other cash back sites for me to use, so it is worth checking to see who is offering the best deal.
Number 1 - Ciao.
This is again a review site where I have put 38 reviews on and have just requested my payment of £80.73. Most of this has come from the premium fund and one Diamond for a review. They don't pay for putting the review on the site and only pay for when another member rates your review, this can be between 0.5p to 2p per rate and is doubled if you are the first to put a review on a product. They again have weekly and monthly competitions. They also have a separate survey site using Greenfield Surveys but this side is pretty dire, normally paying about 10p per survey and I have amassed the large sum of £17.83 in the year for surveys. However these two have given me a total of £98.56. Their minimum payout is £5.00 on both sides and is paid by bank transfer straight into your bank account. It can take between 15 to 45 days for money to get into your account, depend when you request your payment.
Some that did not quite make the list are Its Your View survey site (www.itsyourview.com) with £36.00 in my account but the minimum payment is £50.00. Ipsos Survey site (www.iap-interactive.com) which I have just requested £30.00 in Argos Vouchers. Pinecone Survey Site (www.pineconeresearch.co.uk) £28.00 paid either in Luncheon Vouchers or Pay Pal once you have completed your first survey and finally Yougov, (www.yougov.com) £27.00 in my account but the minimum payment is £50.00 and they only pay 50p per survey.
I have found the best way is for me to leave all monies with the various sites until a couple of months before Christmas, otherwise I would just spend it throughout the year and not receive any benefit of the money.
This year I have a total of £413.92 currently winging its way to my bank account plus £188.00 in vouchers that I have spent either with Amazon and Argos. My husband used to moan about how much time I spent on the internet but when I told him how much I was getting he was quite happy. So with the credit crunch upon us at least Holly will be able to have a decent Birthday and a good few presents from Santa.
Hope this has been of help and many thanks for reading. Anna
Advantages: A bit of variety Disadvantages: Won't appeal to everyone
TOP TEN WEBSITES
This might not actually be the ten websites that I visit most frequently, but alongside the BBC, Amazon, Dooyoo and Ciao I have tried to include two or three lesser known websites that might be of interest to certain people. Some a little arty that won't appeal to everyone, and one that is basically for students of English. Apologies for quite a long review, but you can just pick and choose the sites you would like to read about.
... ...this website through a review on Ciao a couple of years ago. I do occasionally send e-cards but had been lamenting the quality of the ones that were available free of charge. The Jacquie Lawson website currently charges £6.25 for one year's membership or £9.50 for two years, and during the course of your membership you can send any number of cards that are or that become available to any number of recipients. They are worth paying for as far as I ...

Top ten websites? Well not quite, just ten websites listed below that just may make your life a little bit easier or at least save or gain you some money.
www.moneysavingexpert.com
Martin Lewis's great website on advice about saving money, there is no limits to the subjects the man gets involved with but he does give good sound advice. Should someone scratch your hired car at a supermarket with a trolley you'll stand to lose the £600 to cover the cost of the repair even if it costs less to repair? The rental company will offer you protection against this at about £17.00 upwards a day. Daylight robbery for you & ...

Though it pains me slightly to say it, this website really is as good as they make out. A wealth of information, the homepage of which is only the tip of the iceberg. And believe you me, baby, this particular iceberg could not only sink the Titanic, such is it's size, it could down every ship that has ever set sail.
