Aaah! Flashback of my favourite game of my childhood. TopTrumps. When I was younger I'd often be found with somebody else playing toptrumps - and winning!
Now I am not an avid card game fan. In fact I dont like card games that much but when it comes to toptrumps I can call myself and little bit if an expert - provided we are only doing car toptrumps!
Oh yes, I have plenty of top trupmps in my draw and although you may be thinking its old fashioned and you'd never play them, once you start playing you just cant stop. I took them to a camping trip with the school a few years ago. That, along with Uno, became the main focus of our week as we were often found in our tent in a circle playing with these cards. It really was a fun week!

Advantages: Simple game for all to pass the time -loads of decks to collect Disadvantages: May get bored after a few rounds
TOPTrumpsTopTrumps has to be one of the simplest and sometimes addictive cards games on the market its no surprise then that there are so many different versions of the game out there with more being added to the list each year. By versions I don't mean packs with variations to the rules. I mean Different themed decks such as :
Classics Including -Dinosaurs,predators and Gumball 3000 super cars
Specials Including - Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Star Wars and The simpsons
Sports Including- WWE superstars 2, Manchester United Football Club 2008 and World Football Stars

I stumbled across this game quite randomly when I was looking for something else. I had no idea that there was a TopTrumps game out for the DS and was quite surprised to find there were quite a few. I used to love the card game and a number of my friends had different packs that we would play when we were bored during college, so I was excited to find this game and immediatley bought it.
For those of you that have not played a TopTrumps game before, the rules are very easy. A pack of cards is split into two. You only look at the card on the top of your pile. It will feature a picture and then some information about that card. For example, a picture of a labrador followed by information such as weight, rarily, lovability, etc etc. You then pick a statistic from your list and say what it is - your opponent reads out the same ...
