How to Win Friends and Influence People.

Advantages: Easy to read. Agreeable and persuasive. Unsensational - real applicable advice. Appropriate length (268 Pages)
Disadvantages: Old references - however these are just as relevant today as they ever were.

I bought this book from Amazon simply because I stumbled across it while looking for a good self-improvement book to read over the holidays. The title rang a bell, and with 14m copies sold. I figured why not make my first personal development book one that many others have appreciated over the years. This book was first published well over a half decade ago. Advantages: Enjoyable story with great characters
Disadvantages: Slow start

It was well written throughout, with an exciting story and great conclusion to it. I have read several of Ann Granger's novels in the past and enjoyed them all. Her writing in clear, descriptive and easy for follow her thought pattern. The Fran Varady series really appeal to me as Fran is such a down to earth character. She doesn't have money and what she does have she is generous with as she is with her belief in helping out people ...
