As full disclosure, I am one of the authors in this book, but this review is about the editing, layout and other stories by other authors. I review books for the Kindle Book Review, and have reviewed some of the other authors in the past, and really rated their work.

This book is all on the theme of love, paternal and maternal love, love, forbidden love, new love. It shows the dark side of love and hate. All the stories really compliment each other, the cover is amazing and it is well edited and put together. Volume 2, which I am also in, will be out shortly. This book is currently FREE on Amazon until Saturday 12th May 2012, and will then be just 77p to buy.

After being out 2 days, it hit Number #1 on the Amazon bestselling Anthologies list.

There are ten short stories by various authors, something for every taste.

This book is dark fiction, so be prepared for an unsettling ride, as murder, envy, betrayal, and downright twisted evil comes to life in the stories.

Product Description
What is Love?
And why should it impact so differently on each and every one of us?

We can neither touch, smell, see nor hear it, and yet we know it exists, for it is an experience like no other, appearing in an instant or gradually easing into our lives.

It is such a powerful emotion, that we may find ourselves swept up, spun around and wrung out; sometimes in ecstasy, sometimes in misery, and sometimes in sheer passion.

It is an unseen force that permeates though our bodies and minds, filling our thoughts and dreams, influencing our decisions and guiding our actions. It gives us strength, but can also make us weak. It has the ability not only to heal, but also to destroy. It can be emancipating, but can also enslave us.

There is no mandate, no unifying theme; it takes all in different guises, twisting, soothing, but also hurting. Its sheer presence can lift us above all else, but when lost, it can bring our world to a grinding halt; toppling it from its axis, and sending it spinning off into oblivion.

It can and it does.

Love can manifest itself into acts of pure evil; for is revenge not a child born from Love?

The ten tales in this book are the consequences of such Love...

Daddy’s Girl - A.J Armitt – A young surgeon has the perfect father, but what lengths will she go to when he needs her help?

Torture - Robert Brooks – After the death of his wife, a middle-aged man finds love with a younger woman. All is well, until she dumps him for a younger model...

Where Angels Fear to Tread - Paul Murphy – An Army Captain seeks revenge on the gang members who raped and murdered his daughter.

The Widow Tompkin - Shirley Blane – A photographer takes up lodgings with a young widow. But does this attractive and friendly woman have a sinister secret.

Homecoming - Alex MacKenzie - A wife is relieved when her husband returns from battle. He seems different; has the conflict in some way changed him?

Threads of Love - Rachel Dove - A high powered executive enjoys an illicit fling with his assistant until things go wrong. He then has to make a difficult choice...

The Last Dance - A.J Armitt - A lovesick woman dreams of rekindling a relationship at the high school reunion; but another may stand in her way...

A Mother’s Love - Paul Murphy - A young nurse looks forward to ending her tour of duty at a military base in Afghanistan, when she is called on to perform one final act of kindness.

Happy Anniversary - Robert Brooks – A young couple enjoy a night at the opera; until their special evening becomes a nightmare.

The Groomer - Shirley Blane – A teenage girl has an encounter with an older man, whom she has met on the internet. He seems nice, but is all as it seems?

my favourite story is Daddy's girl by Anthony J Armitt, I did not see the twist coming until the very last moment, and I love to be surprised by fiction.

This is a full disclosure review, so I do not feel it is biased, the other stories are judged on their merit and readability alone

I wonder if your account has been hacked :/ From experience of your other reviews this isn't in keeping with your work, and I cant understand why you would risk being banned by blatant advertising. Odd!
