Hello all and welcome to this review.

3 Years ago it was decided that we needed a Tv in our kitchen. Well it was the room that everyone spent the most time in..... So I don't know why we didn't have one sooner. While browsing the Argos catalogue i saw this one, only £135 for a Toshiba 21 inch..... Bargain!

We ordered over the phone and a few days later this thing was up and running:) But be careful when opening this, it is a very heavy unit and you could hurt yourself! Always get the Argos man to install it for you! Haha

It came in a rather bland box with Toshiba stamped on every face including the Eco friendly signs. I was glad that Toshiba use eco boxes:) makes me feel better about my purchase!

In the box there was:
This lovely Tv
A remote
An aerial cable (Unusual, have to buy them seperate usually!)
and full instructions.

The Tv was easy to set up, just put it on the stand, plug it in. Not forgetting the aerial ofcourse! But we have didgital so just plopped the scart lead in and off it went! This Tv has three scart sockets at the back which are really handy.

The picture on this Tv is generally very good! Nice and clear with no funny bits:) Perfect for a kitchen Tv. Although this is not a plasma or LCD I could not help but notice how much smaller it was on the back compared to other bulky Tv's. Much smaller than any other analogue Tv's We've ownded.

The Tv looks very stylish, its silver in colour and looks very sleek. Perfect for any modern home. But back when I bought it LCD's were slightly more expensive than they are now, so if I was to buy another kitchen Tv I would definately not choose a bit bulky thing like this.

The Tv has four buttons on the front, the usual Channel (up), Channel (Down), Volume (up), Volume (Down) - So it is very easy to use. A remote is also supplied, it has many more buttons on it, the usual numbers and screen adjustments etc. However the remote is Tiny!! Very easy to loose. Its about the size of the remote you get with modern HiFi systems.

The sound that comes from this Tv is pretty Huge! Even though it has Mono sound it really can make some noise on the music Channels:) Great for when you are in the need of a music break while cooking.

So far this Tv has been very reliable. It has lived in my kitchen which usually gets quite steamy from cooking! Dangerous I know but hey.. Its still going:)

I would defiantely recommend this Tv for the price, it really is a bargain for a Tv of tis quality.
