As an owner of a DVD player, but still only having a 21" mono TV, the time to invest in a new model was inevitable. As the old Toshiba was 7+ years old, and hassle free Toshiba was a definite to consider again. Sony’s were discounted on cost (unfortunately) and not many other brands came close in terms of features etc. The decision was made, and the beast of a box was dually delivered. I wanted a TV and was very eager to buy a widescreen as soon as possible. So I went to a Local television retailer and had a look around. I came across this widescreen 28" Toshiba tv. It had a flat screen and Dolby surround sound and all for £600! Wow, i thought thats cheap. The next thing, i was being spoken to by the sales assistant, who assured me that it was a bargain and that Toshiba were an excellent make. I HAVE APPENDED SOME TECHNICAL INFO TO THE END NOW Picture Quality: Amazingly good (I am a Sony Fan bear in mind). Always crisp and clear and never looks ‘grainy’ even when sat fairly close. The flatscreen is very good, even when I have many people round the TV nobody complains even when virtually sat alongside the TV. Sound Quality: The 2 rear external surround speakers do make this TV heaps better than many.
