First off I have to say that this HD Ready television is excellent considering the price - £289.99 from Amazon. It arrived yesterday in a very sturdy box, nothing inside was damaged and it was easy to remove from the box even for my with flimsy lady arms! It was easy to attach to the included stand and attach all the cables for the Sky and multiple games consoles. I did need to dig out a screwdriver to fix the tv to the stand with the included screws. I didn't set up any terrestrial channels as we only use the sky - our aerial is rubbish. The tv does include freeview and looks fairly simple to operate. It took a while to get the colour to our taste as it seemed to be quite red when first turned on. The power button is on the side behind the screen with the other manual controllers which is easy to access, although what is wrong with a button on the front! There are two scarts and 3 HDMI slots and various other video inputs. The picture quality is excellent, but then I have only just upgraded from a rather old tube telly! Before it was quite difficult to read text when playing the xbox 360, now it is crisp and clear. Sound quality is great with loads of different settings for perfectionists. The styling is excellent as well, a lovely shiny black frame. Considering the price this is an excellent purchase.
I have now tuned the tv set into terrestrial tv. Can't believe how easy it was and it even put them in the right order - BBC 1, BBC 2 etc. It found loads and loads of freeview channels as well, most I doubt I'll ever watch!
