The TV itself weighs a ton, don’t even bother trying to lift it by yourself, unless you want to slip a disc or something, it also does take up quite some room, so again, don’t bother if you have a small place, unless your focal point is your TV.
The TV itself has Nicam, Fastext and a Flat Screen, which I must add is of a high quality. It features 3 Scart sockets at the back along with an RGB output. It plays PAL and NTSC, has a digital comb filter, super scene control, super real transient, colour detail enhancer, digital noise reduction, picture size adjustment, bass boost, icon driven menus, on/off timer and of course the remote control. You also get with it a pretty good quality stand, which is Silver in colour, the same as the TV itself.
It is very easy to link all your equipment to the TV, i.e.; Satellite, VCR, DVD, etc. via the back of the TV, it also has phono plugs and AV adaptor at the front of the TV. The TV also has its two main speakers at the front, along with the bass speaker which is situated at the front bottom; it also comes with two surround speakers.
The TV itself now is fairly outdated by the sleek new plasmas, but saying that, for the price it now costs, you do get a lot of TV for your money… its especially ideal for the movie person. These days the cost of this 'Little Monster' would be around £300 - £500, ebay is the place to look i'd guess!
