Basically the laptop is an average notebook computer for general use. The processor and drive capabilities are nothing special, but admirable for the price that you pay.
If you want a computer for anything other than general use this is not the right laptop for you. It doesnt have the capabilities to be anything other than an average computer. It could suit small business ventures that dont necessarily require a high processing speed, but is certainly un-suitable for gaming on as it has neither the processing speed or memory for such a venture. So a good home laptop.
Available from toshiba-europe.com but online there are very few stockists of this particular model.
Depending on availability I know that PCWorld, Dixons and Currys all stock Toshiba products.
The price range of the Toshiba Equium L300 Series is £350 - £400 generally.
If you cant find this particular model but are interested in other models of similar specifications here are some models that perhaps fit the bill:
Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-156 (Very similar but faster processor at 1.86Ghz).
Toshiba Satellite Pro A300-109 (Faster processor and double the internal memory).
Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-154 (Faster processor and double memory). More hard disk.
Anyway the L300-146 model is a good general computer that will not let you down, nor does it look all that bad on the contrary it looks pretty good. But there are other models available that are better for the price and that are more readily available.
