    Unfortunately, the Equium M50-244 wasn't my first choice of laptop - I learned to regret that. I was given a basic Advent as a gift; it was ok for about a month, then one day simply stopped. No explanation. Since it was a gift, we returned it and ended up with an "upgraded" Advent. No more than a month later - the SAME THING HAPPENED. When we returned to PC World, the Toshiba Equium was the next step up PRICEWISE, but spec wise, it was a downgrade. HA! I thought that the name Toshiba might offer a better product, thankfully I was right! However, I prepared myself for a slower computer, one ... more
