For value for money, this beats all competitors hands down. The crystal clear display is perfect for those businesses who can want to have that extra edge over their competition.
The display itself is typical of an LCD screen, thin, light and very nice looking. Whilst, the image quality on most LCD suffer from low refresh rates and not being able to show contrast all that well, but I was quite astounded by this as the image quality seemed much better, with a barely noticeable motion blur which was only spotted by one employee sat on the other side of the room.
The viewing angle is good, employees sat in a semi circle a few meters away didn't notice any distortions, so all in all, a very nice monitor.
...The screen is ultra thin, and a fantastic buy. We used to have a chunky monitor, but now, we have a fantastic one of these! We bought ours online - it is best to shop around, just in case. We did notice there were major price differences between the different websites. Overall, for imagery, we would give this LCD 4 out of 5, and value for money 3 out of five. Perhaps an idea would be to look at he entire range tobisha have to offer, before you buy. Sometimes, it may be worth paying more, for better quality overall! Tobisha is a fantastic, well made brand, and is definitely woth the consideration!
Remember to shop around to find the best deal!!!...

Advantages: Good looking, has Wi-Fi, Infrared, DVD burner and... thats it really... Disadvantages: Heavy, underperforms, short battery life, runs hot, speakers sound like pie dishes.
...as it has a fan situated underneath which must not be obstructed.
The Toshiba has a reasonably bright 15" LCD screen with pretty good image quality, though the measly ATI Mobility Radeon graphics chipset isn't up to much. As usual, Toshiba have included a mass amount of useless utilities and software that clutter up your reasonable 60Gb hard drive, slowing it down further. Lately, the laptop has been near grinding to a halt in its performance, a clean install of XP rectified this, and I am now pleased to say that my hatred for the A60 has diminished slightly now that performance has increased.
Overall, a reasonable laptop for the price. I have no doubt that if used in hot climates or dropped once or twice it would bite the dust pretty sharply, but for a low-end notebook computer, it fulfills its tasks. It has some useful features...

Advantages: COMPACT. WIRELESS. DVD PLAYER. LIGHT WEIGHT. Disadvantages: 3 YEARS OLD. MOUSE TAKES TIME TO GET USED TO
...phone line cable connected to laptop) is a great asset to have, I can now stroll around with my nice shiny silver Toshiba Laptop with no nasty phone cables to trip me up (totally excellent).
The general function's of this machine are very user friendly such as playing back DVD's, running and saving programs etc. Another great feature is the 12.5in LCD screen which is superb (fantastic resolution, razor sharp).
On the downside the Toshiba 4000 has a tricky mouse key that you use instead of the conventional pad or roller ball (to move the cursor) which takes sometime to adjust to.
Being 3 years old now is some what old fashioned in this arena of rapid hi-tec development.
