The Toshiba Satellite L500 is the same as most other toshiba laptops. It looks stylish and can do all the basic functions that you would want for a laptop. However, when you use it, you dont feel very comfortable because it feels very cheap. The keyboard is very flimsy and feels like it is about to break every time you type something and the mouse pad and buttons do not respond well. However, the number pad on the right hand side of the keyboard is great as it makes it so easy to type numbers. You can buy this laptop with a range of processors and sizes of harddrive so you can choose the one which suits you best. The display is actually very good but the battery life could have been improved. On my model it will last for a maximum of 2.5 hours on its lowest power setting.

Most of my online work is done on my laptop computer, but I cannot get along with the built in touch-pad and decided to use a mouse instead, after trying the normal sized mouse borrowed from my desk-top PC, I found that it was too big for the available space that I had, so I bought a minimouse which was ideal.
After using and breaking several unbranded minimice bought cheaply from my local computer supplies shop I decided to see what was available on line, and after seeing the Labtec mini optical glow mouse, and read some positive reviews on it, I ordered one.

Logitech Mini Optical Mouse - Is one of the good Logitech product that I like.
I have been using this mouse from 6 months - It is a good mouse as compare to BALL Mouse. Light weight as well. But after a few month its left click was stop working.. I don't know what si the reason but it not just happened to me but with my frined as well.
Other then that, there is no problem at all. My all friends are using it in the office.. and working fine.
I recommand to use USB as it is quite easy now adays and not having any fear - not working the mouse port.
