Toshiba Equium 3100M C 433 MHz

Advantages: Large Screen, Brilliant Laptop
Disadvantages: Very Thick And Weighs Alot

...Now before i write this review i am not the biggest computer whizz in the world so this is my take on the Toshiba Equium A60-181. I got this laptop after my old one (acer 7002!) broke. I was happy with my old one, even tho it was not wireless it still had alot of great functions with a 40gb hdd aswell as 256 mb. Any way back to this laptop, It has a very good performance because of it's spec which i'll run through; It has a great Pentium 4 processor which helps when multi funtioning aswell as when you are serving the net. It also has a 3.2 MHz processor whitch is huge as you know! As far as the memory goes 512 RAM and an inbuilt 1Gb Cache with a 60 Gb hdd perfect for storing documents,music,films and playing games. The 15" tft screen makes this laptop perfect for watching dvds and as far as the gaming side it also come up top trumps... Read review

...This laptop is now five years old and a bit. But it is well worth while picking one up second hand. I bought it nearly new from Dixons in Belfast prior to their shop refurb - a good time to visit any of the groups premises.! It cost less than £600 and that was incredible value for a product with full guarantee and support and was near the top of the range at the time. I have never needed to contact Toshiba, the laptop has just gone on and on working. It provides the computing power for our church PowerPoint displays every week, and does all my business stuff when travelling. So it gets used by a variety of people with a very wide range of skills - or none! That should be a recipe for trouble - but there has been none. ...cleaner, just put on a cloth and everything comes off and leaves the monitor nice and gleaming! This laptop is very easy to use for any computer whizz or dummy (like me), as it is very easy to get to grips with. It has taken me all of a week to figure out where programmes are and stuff on here, more used to a computer! The ease is just incredable.
