Toshiba Equium 3300D C 600 MHz

...cleaner, just put on a cloth and everything comes off and leaves the monitor nice and gleaming! This laptop is very easy to use for any computer whizz or dummy (like me), as it is very easy to get to grips with. It has taken me all of a week to figure out where programmes are and stuff on here, more used to a computer! The ease is just incredable. Advantages: Looks good, affordable and good build quality
Disadvantages: Heavy, fairly cumbersome and fan needs cleaning ofter

...We purchased our Equium from PC World last year for £600. A bargin we thought however, the fast moving world of PC's and laptop soon had a better bargain. For home use this laptop is great. Excellent features, great for internet and broadband and high res screen make it a joy to use. However after a couple of months the laptop decided to shut itself down without any warning. I'm not talking it would run through the shutdown process, it would simply switch off mid program. I discovered this was due to the CPU overheating and to rectify the problem I needed to hoover to the grill at the back whilst using a can of compressed air to shoot the dust through the cpu. Once I had this problem solved, for about 3 months and then it did it again. Perhaps something Toshiba need to look at. Another downside is the time the laptop takes... Read review

Advantages: Large Screen, Brilliant Laptop
Disadvantages: Very Thick And Weighs Alot

...Now before i write this review i am not the biggest computer whizz in the world so this is my take on the Toshiba Equium A60-181. I got this laptop after my old one (acer 7002!) broke. I was happy with my old one, even tho it was not wireless it still had alot of great functions with a 40gb hdd aswell as 256 mb. Any way back to this laptop, It has a very good performance because of it's spec which i'll run through; It has a great Pentium 4 processor which helps when multi funtioning aswell as when you are serving the net. It also has a 3.2 MHz processor whitch is huge as you know! As far as the memory goes 512 RAM and an inbuilt 1Gb Cache with a 60 Gb hdd perfect for storing documents,music,films and playing games. The 15" tft screen makes this laptop perfect for watching dvds and as far as the gaming side it also come up top trumps... Read review
