However the older the OS the faster it will run because of the size. The RAM is not too bad it is fine for people who will not run several programs at once. The HDD is a fair size. This is understandable to keep the overall size of the machine down. You can get an interchangeable CD-RW Drive for this machine or simply could use some form of external hard disk or flash memory drive. I think this machine looks better than most new machines. It is far smaller than many new machines that I have seen in regional stores. Overall a good buy for someone who requires a first computer or a basic machine to run normal task on.
