Being one of the first mobile phones to include Windows mobile 6 , you can read and reply to e-mails as soon as they arrive at your INBOX, you can organize your calendar and make use of the integrated and popular Microsoft Office applications. Other benefits of this phone are that it consists of a generously large 3" screen, two cameras (one for video calling as this phone is 3G enabled), a high quality mp3 player, video streaming capabilities and much more.
With its integrated Office tools you can easily go about your day without the need of logging on to a computer or laptop to access your e-mails, files etc. Microsoft Outlook mobile lets you browse, send and receive e-mails effortlessly with the phones 3G mobile broadband speeds, which can reach speeds of up to 3.5mbps (Mega-bits Per Second). As this phone runs on Windows mobile 6, Microsoft's newest mobile operating system. You will be able to download thousands of wonderful applications from third party developers. www.projectw.org is one of many websites that host many Windows mobile 6 applications created by third party developers.
Overall I think that the Toshiba Portege G900 is a very good phone, with all the necessary features provided that will enable a person to access their most important files and simply enjoy everything a new mobile phone has to offer. There is only one drawback to this business phone, and that drawback is it's price like all feature filled mobile phones. Prices for the Toshiba Portege G900 start at Ł369.99.

The Toshiba G900 is still quite a fine mobile device today, even up against the giants of the modern mobile market. That is, when you know your way with gadgetry. First of all, let me say that the Toshiba G900 is more of a PDA than a phone. It is a PDA with phone usage as its secondary function. As a PDA it's very useful. As a phone, it works, but it's not quite perfect. The main issue with the phone is that I've heard many reports of bad reception. ... ...the default operating system that Toshiba ships the phone with is slowed down with lots of unnecessary features and files. If you know where to look you can find out how to flash your phone so it can run newer versions of Windows Mobile. The ToshibaPortegeG500 was one of two smart phones released in the second quarter of 2007. However, with the introduction of Microsoft's new mobile operating system (Windows Mobile 6), Toshiba decided not to integrate the new system within the ToshibaPortegeG500. Instead they went with the older Windows mobile 5 operating system. A wise choice?
