I will put this that I am a DVD addict because I have up to two DVD players excluding this present Toshiba model well I have no other option than to sell one off to a friend or action at E bay merchants. Well I will say that this is a standard DVD player because it has all the necessary features like MPEG4, DIVX, MPEG and AVI functionality.
From my observation, this DVD player has the capability of playing all uk format and even plays format from abroad. It has wide range of features but as a device that I got new, and as usual with DVD machines, I pray it last long for me because DVD machines are capable of selecting and rejecting disc. It also has the capabilities of 5X zoom
picture, which is capable of making the picture 5 times larger than the normal size. Some DVD machines are capable of not playing a home recorded that I once owned and these are the reasons why I decided to buy this for my self so to enjoy the machine features to the fullest. When using a visual forward, the rewind goes up to 16 times its normal speed play and it takes care of any dvd recorders and recorded. The high definition picture quality and THX stereo surround sound is one of the features that will enable me recommend this strongly to a family member or a friend. What actually made me to buy this was the playing home-recorded feature it is capable of doing.
The set up of the machine is very simple in the sense that you don't even need an instruction manual to do the set up. What you really need for a successful set up is just put the two scart leads on where it should be one at the back of the dvd machine and one at the back of television and then start up your nice play and makes less noise and it does not require time set up or language set up as well.
Well from people that have used the machine for long, say that you can create CD of your favourite photograph on your PC and it creates a fantastic picture with the help of shutter effects but I have not tried these so I still have to conduct a lot of taste on the machine to prove the presence of these features.
Has another good feature like the audio visual that you might download from the Internet plays very well without the need for conversion so all the MPEG4, AVI and so on are carted for so all you need is just to download from the internet to a CD and then slot in then hey it does the job. A friend told me about these marvelous features of the machine when I was still using the other one. What entices me most in a machine like this is the way it converts all the Internets downloads into a simple playing stuff what a machine.
Its sound and picture has fantastic beams when put in an LCD screen TV with bright colours and sound while in my own case, I get mine connected to a speaker that has nice sound output and the reason is the habit I have developed in playing music with it so I really need the speakers.
It is lightweight and I find it comfortable because I don't keep it static so what I do is I use it in both places like in my parlor and my bedroom. So these are the main factors that make me to take it about. The mp3 play back is very okay and like it a lot.
This is a standard DVD machine that is of good value for money could you believe that a quality DVD machine could be bought at less than £50 comfortably with the home-recorded feature.
My own machine came in a silver colour but it comes in three major colors which is the black, graphite and the silver colour that mine came in. although some versions are higher in price like the graphite colour and I would have gone for that if I had known that on time.
I found the height of the DVD machine amazing because it is quite slim but packed with good features. Its height is less than 2 inches, which is very compact and slim in looks, but I like it that way because I take .it around my household comfortably.
I have the remote control with me and it responds fast but some times it tends to perform another function that you don't tend to get from it. In my own case I once pressed the button for fast forward and it went on stop that lost the playing memory.
I think the manufacturers dint make it a full DVD playback machine because it has inability to store memory and my previous DVD machines have edge over this particular issue of memory. While playing movie if you put off and rely on the last place it stopped, I think the best thing to do is to take up your remote control and fast-forward it till it gets to where you stopped.
There are onscreen options like time remaining and running time.
This is quite portable and nice so would encourage this but only that the memory is poor but still a good machine.
