This is simply a superb DVD player. For less than £100, back in the days when a good multiregion DVD player cost a lot more than that, I've had several years of trouble-free viewing.
The picture is sharp and clear, and the sounds really hit the spot. It has additional ports at the rear for connections to more advanced speaker or home cinema options for best results, though the quality that comes though a normal TV with the SCART socket is hard to fault.
The menus are very easy to navigate, with various picture and sound output options to ensure you get the best possible results. The CD playback is fine, though it could do with an MP3 capability to bring it up to date.
The design is sleek and stylish, and setup, as with most audio-visual equipment these days, is almost too easy, so I don't have any comments on the instruction manual, as I;ve never actually read it. An easy to operate remote control completes a great product.
Although I doubt they still make them, I would definately recommend this to anyone who does see it, whether nw or second hand.
