when i first decided to step up into the dvd world i wanted a relatively cheap but easy to use dvd player. that is what i've got with this player. it is also multi-region but unlike a lot of other players this one has a very useful automatic region changer. when i compared this one to that of my brothers(a pioneer) i thought the extra £100 he spent on his was not justified because his is just to hard to use. with the toshiba all you have to do is put the disc in and press play, as simple as that.
