Setup could not be easier just plug in the power and scart and done. The remote is a bit small and therefore there is a habit of hitting the wrong button by accident.

I was looking for a DVD player that i could use a USB mem stick with as i have a lot of avi. files on my computer, after a search i found the Toshiba SD-290. It is a neat compact unit but still stylish at the same time. Setup could not be easier just plug in the power and scart and done. The remote is a bit small and therefore there is a habit of hitting the wrong button by accident. DVD playback is excellent on all formats and it does not take ages to identify the format you have loaded. The key for me though is the USB port, just plug in your USB memory stick and watch your files, photos or videos on the screen. I have been looking for a long time for a DVD player that allows the playback of avi. files as simply as through a mem stick and the SD-290 is the one.
