The Toshiba Portege A200 is one of the lightest, slimmest laptops you'll come across, but apart from a slightly poor graphics card it lacks nothing in features and is highly upgradeable. The Toshiba Satellite A200-195. I first saw this product on the comet website, as i was looking for my first laptop to use at home and at school, the price looked good for the specification of the laptop.
So what do you get for that price:
A Dual Core Processor that runs at 1.73 GHz (like having a 3.46 GHz pentium 4)
A huge 2GB of high performance RAM (667 mhz DDR2)
A decent 120GB hard drive
An integrated DVD-RW
A 15.4" Bright Widescreen
Excellent ... ...had a choice of this Toshiba (4 Hours) , an Apple Macbook that cost twice as much (6 Hours), a Sony Vaio almost 3 times as much (10 hours).
I would have gone for the Macbook if i had the money, but on a budget this was the best one, it was also one of the best looking one too.
But one thing i don't like about this laptop is the weight. I use this at school (6th Form) and is quite a big lump to carry round. This laptop But for £530 can you complain? ...

Interesting package, nice look, large display, 200GB HDD and 2GB RAM get really fast and comfortable using of the product. The reading, writing and rewriting of the CD's or DVD's are fast and you have made it in few seconds. Keyboard is in gray color what i realy love. On the display I haven't seen any dots it has really nice and colourful screan. The closing and opening is easy and the conection betwen display and keyboard it's strong so it's impossible ...

This notebook is my first notebook I bought it a year ago soon after it was launched in UK. I paid £499 for it. I don't think I should describe the product description in the review so I will only mention my experiences and opinions. In my opnion, the Satellite series is the reasonable priced notebook introduced by Toshiba. I use it daily and its durability is quite good. The keyboard keys are easy to handle and use. The notebooks come together with ... ...classic looks.
When it is used for long hours (like 5 hours or more), it becomes hotter especially near the mouse pad area and the noise of the fun gets louder to reduce the heat inside.
