Still, it does give an impression of being a fairly robust laptop casewise. Another plus is the firm keyboard and large mouse buttons. It also comes with Vista HotStart for playing music and touch-sensitive hotkeys to control CDs and DVDs. Downside: The battery life is a bit on the low side only lasting around a couple of hours or so. It has an integrated graphics card which limits 3D gaming performance. i own this laptop. i love this laptop to the core. it helps me in every work i do . in remembering things and do my work systematically. by just having a look at this laptop, you would fall in love with it.It has greater speed. it has got awesome look. i feel so comfortable working with it.its got good sound levels. dont miss the opputunity . please get yourself toshiba satellite A300. its the best i've ever seen . it has goo great sound levels too.

...I accept acclimated alot of toshiba laptops over the advance of my job and i feel that with this one its one of the best i accept appear across. Out of the box with a some acceptable specs for basal lower end laptop. intel bifold amount t2370,1gb ram,100gb adamantine drive,vista basic.Had a few issues of not starting up but usually bound by demography the array out and putting it aback in again.for addition who is application this aloof for internet and appointment assignment this is perfect.i would use the accretion deejay beeline abroad that converts it to xp,as your laptop will not use as abundant assets as vista,but that is aloof my claimed preference.i reccommend upgreading the RAM to 2gb or added as angle is actual anamnesis hungry. good laptop with a nice ablaze bright awning and accessible keyboard layout.... ...This is a good workhorse of a computer and with my model having 3GB of R.A.M is a good worker. The processor is strong with the dual core technology (2x1.8 GHz) but could be quite slow in a few years time. The processor is perfect for the sort of work I do, which is mainly using microsoft office. The only drawback is the video card which is a built-in intel 965 chipset family and this is slow and so, although ceratin games do work on this computer, such as Flight Simulator X (only on the lowest quality) and Medieval II Total War (which barely works) it is not for gamers. The 8 in one memory card reader is a good addition but i almsot lost my Memory Stick Duo in it once, before I relised it did not fit. This is, as I have already mentioned and good notebook for any medium size business or student as it does what needs to be done... Read review

Depending on availability I know that PCWorld, Dixons and Currys all stock Toshiba products. The price range of the Toshiba Equium L300 Series is £350 - £400 generally. If you cant find this particular model but are interested in other models of similar specifications here are some models that perhaps fit the bill: Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-156 (Very similar but faster processor at 1.86Ghz).
