Advantages: GREAT SLEEK DESIGN + REASONABLE PERFORMANCE + GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY Disadvantages: BATTERY LIFE COULD BE BETTER!!!!
...GREAT LAPTOP, IN THE WAY IT LOOKS WITH IT'S SLEEK DESIGN, AND QUALITY FEEL, EASE OF USE AND PERFORMANCE. AS STANDARD MEMORY IT HAS 512 MB OF RAM WHICH CAN BE EXPANDED TO 1024 MB IF NEEDED. PERFORMANCE CAN BE A LITTLE SLOW AT TIMES, BUT THAT IS ONLY DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF PROGRAMS YOU USE AT THE SAME TIME. BATTERY LIFE IS REASONABLE, ONLY LASTING 3 HOURS MAXIMUM, BUT IT IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR PORTABILITY. THE CLOCK SPEED IS REASONABLE ENOUGH WITH 1.5GHZ, ALSO THE HARD DISK IS A LIITLE SMALL AT 40GB BUT THERE ARE OTHER TOSHIBASATELLITE PRO L10'S WITH LARGER HARD DISKS, BUT IS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. ALL IN ALL IT'S A GREAT LAPTOP, WITH ALOT TO OFFER!!!!!!...

Advantages: sleek , slim and stylish and mobile. long battery life too. Disadvantages: not meant for computer gamers, or developers. poor online support.
...this laptop is kinda cool for nerd students. i wanned to use it for wireless networking , it was kinda good at it , but lata wen i wanned to use it for games, it suked at it. most of the games wont even play on it.
and yeah b4 this i had an IBM , wen eva i sue to shake it on bed the hard disk would stop fuctioning to prevent data damage on the hard disk , but toshiba is opposite it would keep running the hard disk wen in a shake. i used this laptop for 2 yrs , but its hard disk is approaching the expiry date.
also wen i updated the BIOS, the built in modem disappeared, and on the toshiba support forum , many users have the same complaint, toshiba aint doin nothing abt it , it only knows to take money and forget the customers....

Advantages: Light and slim Disadvantages: Graphics memory is deducted from the RAM
...The ToshibaSatellite Pro L20....
I got hold of this laptop due to the fact that my other one fell and the insurance company gave me this one, and to be honest i am ever so happy with this laptop and the only down side of this laptop is that the size of the memory of the graphics card get taken from the RAM so instead of using the whole of the 256Mb my system information is saying that i have 192Mb of RAM but other than that this is a really nice, light weight slim, stylish and well build laptop.
With is built in wireless, quick track change, play and pause buttons to listen to music on the move means that this laptop can suit any age group.
I have had this laptop over a month now and i have had no problems with it yet everything still works, and for someone that take his laptop everywhere it still looks like it has just come out...
