Advantages: GREAT SLEEK DESIGN + REASONABLE PERFORMANCE + GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY Disadvantages: BATTERY LIFE COULD BE BETTER!!!!
...GREAT LAPTOP, IN THE WAY IT LOOKS WITH IT'S SLEEK DESIGN, AND QUALITY FEEL, EASE OF USE AND PERFORMANCE. AS STANDARD MEMORY IT HAS 512 MB OF RAM WHICH CAN BE EXPANDED TO 1024 MB IF NEEDED. PERFORMANCE CAN BE A LITTLE SLOW AT TIMES, BUT THAT IS ONLY DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF PROGRAMS YOU USE AT THE SAME TIME. BATTERY LIFE IS REASONABLE, ONLY LASTING 3 HOURS MAXIMUM, BUT IT IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR PORTABILITY. THE CLOCK SPEED IS REASONABLE ENOUGH WITH 1.5 GHZ, ALSO THE HARD DISK IS A LIITLE SMALL AT 40GB BUT THERE ARE OTHER TOSHIBASATELLITE PRO L10'S WITH LARGER HARD DISKS, BUT IS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. ALL IN ALL IT'S A GREAT LAPTOP, WITH ALOT TO OFFER!!!!!!...

...solution is to prop up the laptop so that the underside vent can suck enough cool air into the casing. I routinely prop up my laptop with a book. Its very effective but obviously not ideal!
In all other respects the machine is solid and reliable.

I for one, absolutely love the look of this acer. The bottom of the laptop just looks really cool, and the top looks ok too. One only criticism on the look, would be that the plastic at the tip of the screen is a little thick, but then again it does have more
The Dell D series of laptops came out in 2003 to replace the C series laptops (how did they come up with such a catchy name?). The main ranges are the D400, D600 and D800 spot the pattern yet. The D600 is the middle of the range in terms of size, weight more
