Look & Feel
This laptop looks really good and having owned this laptop for close to a year now, using it for hours on end near enough daily I can say that it will keep looking this good. Its trackpad also feels quite good and of a high quality, as does the rest of the whole laptop.
Speed & Functionality
This laptop runs great; it usually comes with a copy of windows vista installed and the two work almost perfectly hand in hand. I actually find that often this laptop out speeds my home pc. The processor is very powerful and very stable too and so is the graphics card, even though it won’t run the very latest games it will still run fairly high level games at a good speed.
Comfort & Portability
I find this laptop is rather comfortable to sit with, as I am writing this review I have the laptop sitting in my lap on the sofa. The only issue I sometimes find is that the left hand side of the laptop and the AC adapter on the cable for charging the battery can get quite warm and can cause discomfort. In terms of portability, this laptop is easy to carry in your hands or under your arm, but it is advisable to probably get a bag to carry it in if you move around quite a lot.
Robustness & Durability
This laptop is defiantly on the very robust and durable side, it has been in my position for almost a whole year and it is still in near enough perfect condition, when my old laptop broke with me after about 6 months. The keyboard on this is still perfect and the characters on the keyboard still haven’t even started to wear off. There was only one issue to do with the shell and it actually had to do with me dropping the laptop accidently from quite a height, and all that was a knocking to the power port.
Value for Money
In terms of value for money, excellent! I can’t think of anything more suitable to put under this heading as this is exactly what it is, an awesome AMD 64bit processor and loads of RAM and space built in with a good graphics card, and it still is under 500 quid!

...and reliable laptop and the Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-153 has turned out to be nothing less. I previously owned a sony vaio, thinking I required a high spec laptop, but I managed to spill water on it and it went bust within its first month, and the damage wasnt covered by its guarantee! This toshiba has yet to let me down, I have had it for over 3 months, filled with music and documents and it has not slowed at all, fulfilling all my needs. The ... ...something pretty. Being a Toshiba product you can rest assured the product is durable and I have found their service to be excellent. Im not awfully computer literate and required assistance setting up my computer, not completely sure how to register my product our connect it to the internet. The toshiba technical assistance staff were incredibly polite and I was served with brilliant efficiency. I bought this laptop in September 2008 for £329 from ...

This laptop is set at an amazing price!it is a great entry laptop for anyone. the hard drive is a decent size however, if you are the type that downloads movies you might want to get your self an external hard drive. the 1GB of ram is standard there's days an is ok however if running vista it can make multi tasking a little harsh on the speed. this laptop has 2 RAM slots allowing it to be upgraded to 2GB, however the current ram cards are 2x 512Mb ... ...them an replace them with 2x1GB cards if i wish to upgrade that much, it is still possible to upgrade to 1.5GB, however it still wont provide the performance you would be looking at if you ware running windows XP. the graphics card is standard as well but should play any game that came out before 2007 considering the specs game ware running on at that time, however the 1GB ram along with vista may slow things down a touch. i do admit i don't play ...

I bought this Toshiba laptop one and half years ago ,but i wouldn't say this laptop is the best but good compare to others i have used before. The use of it is normal,it has the required tasks needed for a computer .The speed is quite good when using this laptop . This is the same laptop i am am using now ,it comes with windows vista ,a really good size of screen .This laptop has a lot a features and a really good security system .The keyboard is ... ...a light weight. This laptop Toshiba satellite Pro L300D-20R comes with a high standard quality software able to make your computer fast and easy to use and also energy saver and it has wireless. The design look absolutely great ,the sound is Eco -friendly. Overall i will say this laptop is one of the great one i have used and still using it because it has great tools and helpful for experts or non-experts of computer ,really easy to use. ...

certainly un-suitable for gaming on as it has neither the processing speed or memory for such a venture. So a good home laptop.

Available from toshiba-europe.com but online there are very few stockists of this particular model.
Depending on availability I know that PCWorld, Dixons and Currys all stock Toshiba products.
The price range of the Toshiba Equium L300 Series is £350 - £400 generally.
If you cant find this particular model but are interested in other models of similar specifications here are some models that perhaps fit the bill:
