This laptop looks really good and having owned this laptop for close to a year now, using it for hours on end near enough daily I can say that it will keep looking this good. Its trackpad also feels quite good and of a high quality, as does the rest of the whole laptop.
Speed & Functionality
This laptop runs great; it usually comes with a copy of windows vista installed and the two work almost perfectly hand in hand. I actually find that often this laptop out speeds my home pc. The processor is very powerful and very stable too and so is the graphics card, even though it won’t run the very latest games it will still run fairly high level games at a good speed.
Comfort & Portability
I find this laptop is rather comfortable to sit with, as I am writing this review I have the laptop sitting in my lap on the sofa. The only issue I sometimes find is that the left hand side of the laptop and the AC adapter on the cable for charging the battery can get quite warm and can cause discomfort. In terms of portability, this laptop is easy to carry in your hands or under your arm, but it is advisable to probably get a bag to carry it in if you move around quite a lot.
Robustness & Durability
This laptop is defiantly on the very robust and durable side, it has been in my position for almost a whole year and it is still in near enough perfect condition, when my old laptop broke with me after about 6 months. The keyboard on this is still perfect and the characters on the keyboard still haven’t even started to wear off. There was only one issue to do with the shell and it actually had to do with me dropping the laptop accidently from quite a height, and all that was a knocking to the power port.
Value for Money
In terms of value for money, excellent! I can’t think of anything more suitable to put under this heading as this is exactly what it is, an awesome AMD 64bit processor and loads of RAM and space built in with a good graphics card, and it still is under 500 quid!
