    The Toshiba satellite m30 pro is a thin and sleek laptop matching the looks and requirements for todays busy and on the move users. It is literally a desktop computer packed into a small, light and easy to use 1.6GHZ, 60 Gb memory HDD and 512 MB RAM machine. I have found it not only easy to use but also fun and hassle free most of the time.     This review is for the Toshiba Satellite Pro m30 Harman Kardon styled laptop.I will not say what I paid as it was a special price and not generally available. I have had this laptop for approx. 9 months. I use this laptop mainly for wireless connection to the WWW from my lounge, I am writing this review on it now. The first things I look for in a laptop or a desktop come to that is how it interfaces with me rather than performance. This laptop is good. The screen is 15".4" and is superb except when outdoors in the sun but then that is to be expected. There is quite a lot of brightness control ... more

    This is my first Laptop, and I must say I think I have made a top choice. Although a bit pricey in comparison to others of similar spec, I feel the difference in quality and durability outweigh the cost implications! The business side of the laptop speaks for itself, a good size HDD (40gb) with a good read write speed, allowing for image manipulation to simple spreadsheet usage. The ram I upgraded to 1gb, (greedy I know), but I do create a lot of images with Adobe PS (memory hungry). The sound system is good but not as good as the Harmon Kardon speaker system in the next model up! Hwoever ... more
