I have had this laptop for about 2 years and it has served me well, though some parts have become faulty during this time: the CD drive for one does not work at all anymore.
The laptop has also noticeably slowed down in performance in the last 6 months, despite my best efforts to clean it up and make it more efficient.
In terms of portability, it is fairly standard, not being particularly heavy nor light.
The keyboard is resilient and in fact the machine as a whole has withstood some pretty significant knocks, including having soft drinks spilt on it.
If purchasing this, I would recommend wiping off all the pre-installed software, besides Windows obviously, and installing an extra 1 or 2GB of RAM in it.

(+) cool and quite robust trackpad, good display,64-bit windows 7 (-) few connectors,dell drivers only, not realy for gameing (most models), finger print prone!

This review does not explain anything about this product at all, it is too general and could be abour a large variety of laptops, not only this one. How it was rated very helpful is beyond me as there is no information in the review.
