...working for a poor art gallery we needed somthing cheap but effective for our shows. i had a good look at everything out there and ended up with 2 of these for my £900 rather than just one.
the specs were quite good for the money in fact i could not find anything else as good for the price i got mine.
the 800x600 resolution with a 1400ANSI lumen light makes a great picture but only in low light, i found the picture faded if i turned on any thing more than a 40w table lamp,
the contrast ratio (difference between black and white) is 2000:1,which is very respectable for such a cheap projector and with a projection size from 30-300 inches with good zoom and focus in the 3-33 foot projection distance. there was little complaint from the bosses about their useability.

...When preparing a PowerPoint presentation, unless you intend to attach your laptop to a very large wall mounted video screen or television you will require a projector of some description to enable those in the audience to actually see images and read any text. In my line of business it is of the utmost importance that clients and other members of staff can see the charts we present and read through the sometimes quite detailed business plans we prepare. Our two new conference rooms are now equipped with the ToshibaTDP S35 projector, a relative bargain purchase for only 420 Euros (approximately £300).
I cannot comment on the actual decision to purchase these projectors over the other brands and models available on the market as I had no hand within the decision making process, but I will provide my opinion on what they are like to use...
