Advantages: Ease of use, memory capacity Disadvantages: Quality, feel, value for money
The Toshiba Satellite L500 is the same as most other toshiba laptops. It looks stylish and can do all the basic functions that you would want for a laptop. However, when you use it, you dont feel very comfortable because it feels very cheap. The keyboard is very flimsy and feels like it is about to break every time you type something and the mouse pad and buttons do not respond well. However, the number pad on the right hand side of the keyboard is great as it makes it so easy to type numbers. You can buy this laptop with a range of processors and sizes of harddrive so you can choose the one which suits you best. The display is actually very good but the battery life could have been improved. On my model it will last for a maximum of 2.5 hours on its lowest power setting.
Overall, this laptop is reasonable at most things but not ...
Advantages: Value For money Disadvantages: No Bluetooth
i first bought a Toshiba around about 4 or 5 years ago, it was a toshiba tecra m3, it was a lovely laptop until i dropped it and broke it, i decided that i would replace it with another toshiba because of the previous good reliability i had got from the machine, i thing that attracted me to this laptop was firstly the fact it was an operating system upgrade for me and secondly the superior specifications, the only down side being that there is no integrated bluetooth and trusted security platform, i found that the offers that were available at the time of purchase were very reasonable and i feel i got great value for money, i also think that the designer of this laptop has taken very great care with the general look and feel of the laptop and have put a lot of thought into the hardware they have supplied and it holds pride of place ...
Advantages: Excellent value for money/Great sound and Picture Disadvantages: Very Heavy & Bulky
The Toshiba 32Z17B is a beast of a TV, however saying that, it is of a pretty high standard, has an excellent picture quality to it especially as it?s only a 50 hertz, along with the sound which is Dolby Pro-Logic/Dolby Surround.
The TV itself weighs a ton, don?t even bother trying to lift it by yourself, unless you want to slip a disc or something, it also does take up quite some room, so again, don?t bother if you have a small place, unless your focal point is your TV.
The TV itself has Nicam, Fastext and a Flat Screen, which I must add is of a high quality. It features 3 Scart sockets at the back along with an RGB output. It plays PAL and NTSC, has a digital comb filter, super scene control, super real transient, colour detail enhancer, digital noise reduction, picture size adjustment, bass boost, icon driven menus, on ...
The TEC B-872 thermal transfer / direct thermal printer continues TEC's tradition of producing printers that lead the market in price and performance. Featuring 305 DPI print speeds of up to 8 inches per second this printer also incorporates ribbon save and the ability to handle a wide range of media types. The B-872 features the latest design in print head technology. TEC'S exclusive, patent pending, FETHR (Floating Edge Type Head Revolution) permits lighter head pressure to print on a wide range of face stocks from thin to thick, and on various smoothness of papas. This revolutionary FETHR thermal head adjusts automatically and does not require mechanical changes. Print quality is not dependent upon pressure with the platen, and there is less abrasion add wear on the print head. Minimum pressure with the print head extends print head life well beyond other printer manufactures. The B-872's unique straight-through paper path allows the printer to automatically adjust the printer to print on various thickness of label and tag materials. It also makes media loading easy.
