Perfect for retail, ticketing, transportation, and hospitality applications, the B-SV4D delivers quality and performance that won't break the bank. This 4" wide direct thermal printer is full of features that outperform other printers in its class. Its rugged and attractive double-walled construction makes the B-SV4D tough enough for transportation applications, yet attractive enough for retail environments. Featuring serial, parallel, and USB standard, the B-SV4D is capable of printing up to 5 inches per second. Day to day operations of the B-SV4D is user-friendly. The clamshell design makes loading media easy. A wide-open design grants easy access to the print head and platens, which can be replaced without the need for a screwdriver.
...I have never seen or used a Toshiba AMD based laptop that was better than this particular piece of kit
This is definately a budget machine which is a perfect desktop replacement with a sleek design and attractive display that would appeal.
Pros: Broad, bright display; comfortable keyboard, new measures that Toshiba has taken to insure quality and the look
Cons: Unimpressive battery life; glossy screen finish produces reflections;
Verdict: The inexpensive Toshiba Satellite Pro A210-1B1 laptop offers enough features and performance oomph for basic business tasks, but its AMD processor may disappoint hard-core multitaskers. Does not over warm up so thats good news for travellers like myself. Is very good value for money, looking at prices of different stores like Technoworld (by now you should all know it is my favourite...

Advantages: COMPACT. WIRELESS. DVD PLAYER. LIGHT WEIGHT. Disadvantages: 3 YEARS OLD. MOUSE TAKES TIME TO GET USED TO
...line cable connected to laptop) is a great asset to have, I can now stroll around with my nice shiny silver Toshiba Laptop with no nasty phone cables to trip me up (totally excellent).
The general function's of this machine are very user friendly such as playing back DVD's, running and saving programs etc. Another great feature is the 12.5in LCD screen which is superb (fantastic resolution, razor sharp).
On the downside the Toshiba 4000 has a tricky mouse key that you use instead of the conventional pad or roller ball (to move the cursor) which takes sometime to adjust to.
Being 3 years old now is some what old fashioned in this arena of rapid hi-tec development.
