...The ToshibaTLP-S30 Projector
This projector is very aesthetically pleasing, it looks very modern and and the face of it looks to be a great projector.
There are several important factors to look at when considering buying a projector and that is the brightness. This projector boasts a 1400 lumen lamp. For those of you who aren't used to projector terminology, lumens are just a unit for the measure of how bright the bulb in a projector is (and lamp is just the correct term for a projector bulb) Now this isn't an amazing brightness, but the Sanyo PLC-SU20 (just as an example) works comfortably at 1200 lumens and around 1500 lumens is really what somebody new to projectors should probably be looking at.

Advantages: Nice look, good battery life. Disadvantages: Too small.
...actually pretty impressive.
Function
The notebook works quite well with wireless internet and doesn't cut off often as I have found with wi-fi on some other laptops.
It also has an impressive battery life, in a recent car journey, I found it lasted about 3 and 3/4 hours, easily enough time for all of the film I was watching as well as some of another.
It is available in two versions, Ubuntu Linux and Windows XP Home., but the Linux has 512Mb of RAM and an 80Gb hard disk, the Windows one has 1Gb of RAM and a 120Gb drive. I personally own the windows version, since I know more about the operating system and prefer the high memory levels.
The rest of it's specifications are pretty average for a note book and it runs as such.
Overall
The Toshiba NB100 is great if you're japanese and/or believe things should be made...

Basically the laptop is an average notebook computer for general use. The processor and drive capabilities are nothing special, but admirable for the price that you pay.
OPINION
If you want a computer for anything other than general use this is not the right laptop for you. It doesnt have the capabilities to be anything other than an average computer. It could suit small business ventures that dont necessarily require a high processing speed, but is...
