I have been using the Toshiba Tecra 9000 for about two years now. The laptop is very good. The inbuilt wireless and Bluetooth are very useful. The built in SD Card reader is also useful, but only runs at USB 1.1 speed so can be a little slow when transferring lots of files. The screen is bright and clear and copes well with playing DVDs. It is a fast enough PC to watch the BBC iPlayer in full screen. The built in mouse nipple can be a little hard to get used to, so I would recommend a small cordless USB mouse. You can get these for as little as two or three quid from a site like ebuyer. The battery life is ok. There can be some issues with these laptops, and if you have one that is starting to blue screen some information can be found at http://www.squidoo.com/T9000fix. Overall this laptop is suitable for many tasks, for instance word processing, watching DVDs and web browsing/ online mini games.
