    Advantages Advantages Lightweight, powerful, strong, long battery life. Excellent toshiba software. Quiet. Filter on CPU vent

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Headphone port at the front. Tiny trackpad. Creaks a lot. Screen not that good

    This is a brilliant laptop thats well worth the money. Its light, strong and sturdy and it has very good battery life. The laptop is also quiet and does not get hot, which is good if your resting it on your lap for long periods. You dont get any heat comming through the keyboard or the platsic getting warm on top at all. The laptop has a very comfortable keyboard, with generously sized keys. The fingerprint reader which is very handy can be annoying at times when it rejects your fingerprint if you don't press hard enough. However this is a minor setback and it sitll works great.     Toshiba Tecra A9 is a business notebook with average size and average weight. It is built on the Intel Centrino platform with integrated graphics and has improved the security. Laptop is looking fine for the first view, it is made form combination black and silver color, while the silver chasiss is enough strong to whitstand come accidents. The chasiss was tested by toshiba as a Shock Protection technology that protects important parts in case of fall. The notebook measures are 366x268x38.9 and weight is 2.88kg.     I believe that the Toshiba Tecra A9 is one the best laptops around considering the relatively cheap price for which it is available. With Bluetooth and wireless technologies as well as a fast and effective processor, it is one that you can rely on. The battery life is very good and can last for quite a long time. The laptop comes with a user manual that is easy to understand while the after sales support provided is relatively good as well.     A laptop that is hugely durable, i have taken it on many business trips, and it has survived in my luggage bags with merely a few scrapes on the outer casing, would definitely recommend this to a user that travels alot. I find that the battery lasts for around 1 hour and 45 mins but don't keep it in the charger all the time because i have noticed that it does shorten the battery life. The laptop is very user friendly, with easy access for any maintenance or improvements such as increasing RAM etc, also wifi has quite a good pickup range.
