It is moderately fast if you are only doing basic word processing or surfing the internet, but as soon as you test it with challenging and complex functionality (such as database or graphical work) it starts to run extremely slowly. Given the demands modern software puts on laptops' processors, this can be a serious issue.
If you want a lightweight machine for occasional personal use then this is the machine for you, however if you require a laptop for any kind of serious processing, avoid this machine at all costs.

Advantages: Value For money Disadvantages: No Bluetooth
i first bought a Toshiba around about 4 or 5 years ago, it was a toshibatecram3, it was a lovely laptop until i dropped it and broke it, i decided that i would replace it with another toshiba because of the previous good reliability i had got from the machine, i thing that attracted me to this laptop was firstly the fact it was an operating system upgrade for me and secondly the superior specifications, the only down side being that there is no integrated bluetooth and trusted security platform, i found that the offers that were available at the time of purchase were very reasonable and i feel i got great value for money, i also think that the designer of this laptop has taken very great care with the general look and feel of the laptop and have put a lot of thought into the hardware they have supplied and it holds pride of place ...
