The Toshiba Satellite L500 is the same as most other toshiba laptops. It looks stylish and can do all the basic functions that you would want for a laptop. However, when you use it, you dont feel very comfortable because it feels very cheap. The keyboard is very flimsy and feels like it is about to break every time you type something and the mouse pad and buttons do not respond well. However, the number pad on the right hand side of the keyboard is great as it makes it so easy to type numbers. You can buy this laptop with a range of processors and sizes of harddrive so you can choose the one which suits you best. The display is actually very good but the battery life could have been improved. On my model it will last for a maximum of 2.5 hours on its lowest power setting.

, and had began to lose it's vividness on the colours, and the Tekbright now renewed my memory of the colour screen computer. By today's standards the colours are quite dull, but back then I certainly didn't think so! 9/10 for first impressions. (Despite being quite large)
Performance
This is a toughie-- Should I answer this as it performed when I got it, or as it performs now? Well, it ran great for around the first 2 years... Very easy on the eye, very little flicker, never cut out, nothing... It was one of the best monitors I've ever used for the first 2 years... But after that, as with any old monitor, it started to flicker a little, and cut out every few weeks, but nothing a reset of the monitor won't fix. The monitor still performs well, though, but it gets hot quite quickly if it's left on for more than ...
