    Dreadful Laptop Warranty Repair Experience Introduction I came to study my master degree in the UK since last year and stay in University’s halls of residence.     Introduction: I was looking for a netbook for my daughter to do her homework without hogging our main computer and also with an option of storing digital photos/video from my TZ10 camera via the SDHC memory card reader. Also, access to the internet on the move when there is free Wi-Fi available. Eventually I bought a Toshiba NB250-107 netbook for £249 with some vouchers under the Big Tesco ClubCard voucher exchange scheme to help reducing some of the costs, without checking on the web about Toshiba's after sales reputation.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Buid quality of machines no better (or worse) than other companies.

    I have had 2 Toshiba laptops. I bought the second one specofically to take advantage of their customer support, which I have now used 4 or 5 times. I also had a Dell, and when I had problems with it I got passed around from person to person with no-one interested in helping me , except for the occasional person who wanted to sell me a new computer. The people Toshiba employ are also excellent. Many customer support organisations employ people who don't know very much, are diagnosing from a flow chart or are not very bright, or all three.
