Le Corbusier's works of art are explained here. Powerful elements of modern architecture and the story behind the birth of his 5 elements, directly and indirectly. Modern architecture as we know it is much different in the 20th century. Leading architects such as Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe, Vans Scharaun and Hugo Haring all played a major role in this era. Le Corbusier's work was a display of radical and efficient use of reinforce concrete, and was one of the most successful in displaying the qualities of this modern material. From this book we gather sources of information of various works, and we can reflect and contrast them with the modernist movement by other leading architects. I would recommend this as a basic to his works. It's not in a detailed, as in structural details of his work, but more of an overview and the ideas and concepts behind it. A good read, interesting and well written.
