By George! That's cheap!

Advantages: Cheap and decent
Disadvantages: sometimes pricey

...find myself coming back to. George has been around for some time now, and at first it may have been a bit crappy, however these days you can pick up things that you have seen in other high street shops and many other styles of clothing for less. I always have thought that George has been reasonably priced throughout the years- here is the moment where I say that I am indeed a cheapskate when it comes to shopping. Therefore when someone says to me- ...
...I tend to turn to George or Primark. However, if it’s jeans I need I don’t go anywhere else besides George, simply because the quality of clothing is amazing for the price. And the jeans they sell are the jeans that you would expect to find in heaven; being so comfortable, affordable, and long lasting! The last pair of jeans I bought at George must have been a few months back, a dark sort of denim that looks good and feels good to wear, I had to ...

Toys R Us - U Bet!!

Advantages: Large variety and wide range of prices.
Disadvantages: Difficulty getting children out of store.

...had the privilege of visiting Toys R Us on several occasions for baby products as well as children's toys and games. I find the stores to be well organized and well stocked. Their prices are average but sales are exceptional. It's great to walk into a store and find toys and accessories for all ages. Their products range from baby accessories, bikes, toys, videos, games, game consoles and much more. The stores are child-friendly and the staff are ...

Value for Money

In store customer service

Tesco Toys; Shameless Ploy to Add to Our Bill?

Advantages: Unbeatable Prices, Bright Colours, Strong Designs
Disadvantages: Limited Ranges in Each Age Group, Quickly Adds Up

Tesco make and stock various different toys and games aimed at everyone from newborns to families. There are some holes in their ranges still (for example older children and teenagers) but they appear to be in the process of extending their ranges to fill in this gap by including such products as craft kits (eg Crystal Growing, Paper FX and Make a Teddy) and electronic gadgets (eg Data Max and Pixel Chix Mall). Tesco seem determined to gain monopoly ...
...far as I'm concerned. Tesco have cleverly employed the "97p technique" in a thinly-veiled attempt to make us believe their prices are cheaper than elsewhere. After all, everywhere else charges us the full 99p do they not? Pricing items at 99p instead of the nearest pound is popularly regarded as one of the most shrewd marketing ploys of all time so it doesn't surprise me that Tesco have chosen to price most of their toys at something pounds 47p or ...

Early Learning Centre Keyboard, stand and Mic -

Advantages: lights, record function, different instruments, percussion, demo's, seat, mic, music stand
Disadvantages: feedback from mic and price.

We have bought the keyboard for our 2 year old daughter's 2nd birhday. Although she's a year younger than the recommended age (I do not suggest everyone does this due to health and safety issues) I tohught she would love the keyboard. The keyboard itself is super simple to put together and although it doesn't come with batteries they are lasting a long time. Our daughter loves to sit to the keyboard and can easily select an instrument for the keys, ...
...2 year old to understand! It even has a record function which is fabulous for your little darlings to hear just how great (!?) they are. Another lovely feature is how there are lights which glow when she plays - visual stimilus along with sound. The mic is also an added bonus, you tell me one toddler who wouldn't want to hear their voice through the speakers. After inital worry she was soon singing away - this can also be recorded through the keyboard. ...
