great value sports car

Advantages: comfy seats, leather interior, sporting credentials
Disadvantages: lack of acceleration

well firsty on admiring the looks of the celice i was in love with the car staright away. i myself bought a black version of the 1.8 vvti. i instantly fell in love with the looks and contours of the car. i myself thought it looked like a lamboughini at first glance however as time goes by you start to notice how the car doesnt actually feeli like a sports car with great looks like it does. firstly the back of the car looks to high for it being a ...
...strength bars from underneath the car. the front of the car is sound with a very nice sporting look however once again towards the rear the exhaust is terrible it produces more of a rasping sound than power sound. it kind of splutters i have had to purchase a new sports one so that the appearance and sound of the car isnt shown up. as for the interior of the car i was very appreciative as i loved the leather seats and the sporting looks of the seats. ...

Toyota Starlet as a first car

Advantages: good make of car, good handeling
Disadvantages: not much space in the back, lap belt over the middle seat

I recently bought a Toyota Starlet as a 1st car for myself and it is in this that I have learnt to drive(ish). As a Toyota it is reliable by definition, mine is 10 years old and is running better than alot of cars my parents have had over the recent years. The front of the car is spacious enough, the only design fault really is how far back the seat belts are but I think that this is generalised to all 3-door cars, the back on the other hand is not ...
...personally i would only ever try to put 2 children in the back there are 2 reasons for this; 1) the lack of legroom and 2) the middle seat belt is only a lap belt. The car itself drives very well, mine has a 1.3 litre engine and the power behind it is very obvious. It is very quick and handles excellently. I would recommend this as a 1st car for someone who is not scared of driving. ...

THE ONLY BIG/SMALL CAR FOR ME

Advantages: STYLISH; RELIABLE; COMFORTABLE; VFM
Disadvantages: MULTI-MODE TRANSMISSION

...multi-mode transmission offered in the TOYOTA YARIS 1.3. Here was a clutch less gearbox that offered the total convenience of fully automatic transmission, coupled with the more personal control of the self-selection of gears at a flick of the stick. This factor, conjoined with a particularly tasty showroom deal, found us proud owners of this stylish looking car. You might ask that after 15 months and 11,000 miles am I happy with my choice? On the ...
...makes one feel like a learner driver. Offsetting this one weakness against the many plus factors that grace the TOYOTA YARIS 1.3, I must say that overall I am happy with my choice and would have few reservations is recommending this vehicle to other potential purchasers. **************************** ...

Superb Economical Car

Advantages: Great Reliability, Low Depreciation, Spacious Interior, Low Running Costs, Low Petrol Consumption
Disadvantages: None spring to mind

...and legroom in the car. Toyota had a stroke of genius when they put in a back seat that could move forwards and backwards like the two front seats, allowing you to set the rear seat leg room/boot space ratio to how you want. With the seat pushed back its furthest, the amount of leg room in the back is amazing for a small car. Perhaps the only thing that lets the Yaris down is how much they cost. On one hand, this is a good thing as they don't depreciate ...

Imported Previa's Estima Lucida

Advantages: diesel
Disadvantages: morre regular servicing

...would have crumpled but the Toyota build quality has just left a few large dents. I would certainly consider buying another or even the petrol Previa. There are now many reasonably priced examples on the market. ebay they range from around £1000 for K reg. Autotrader and locally you can pay anything up to £6000 for R reg. Generally they seem to be a little cheaper than the Previa. The only difference is the rerliability and durability of the diesel ...
...the internet. I would avoid Toyota main dealers as some are not aware of the service requirements and will charge Toyota prices for genuine parts. I've been told Lucidas are heavy on starter motors. Mine failed after about 2 years use (although it well have been the original). The local garage could only source from Toyota who wanted £500. The local recondition centre wanted £180. Finally, I got one from ebay which cost £41.65 including next day ...
