A Dependable Choice
Advantages: Very reliable, inexpensive to run, plenty of kit. Disadvantages: Not very exciting, and not cheap to buy.
...bought a four year old Toyota Corolla 1.6 T-Spirit in replacement of my previous vehicle (a Nissan Almera 1.8 Sport+) that was sadly written off in an accident. Since that time, I've travelled over 7000 miles in it, and can report that absolutely nothing whatsoever has gone wrong with it. At all. So I've no complaints whatsoever on the reliability front. In fact, this car has very little to complain about. It's comfortable, has plenty of kit, and ... ...I'm averaging around 43mpg at the moment, which is pretty good I reckon (the Almera gave me about 40-41mpg at best). In terms of performance, the 1.6 litre engine isn't going to set the world alight, but gives a nice balance between efficiency in town and still being able to cope comfortably with the open road.
Looks-wise, I think it's a decent looking car. However, it is let down a little by the boring rear-end (and to be honest I think the T-Spirit ...

Toys for the Boys - but practical too
Advantages: Very Nice shape, good quality, looks good Disadvantages: Tyres expensive, high insurance
My husband has owned his corolla T Sport for 18 months now. He bought it brand new from our local dealer, and was like a little boy when he was waiting to collect it! It really is a boys toy, but with a big slant on being practical.
It has the same engine as the celica, so at 189bhp, it isnt slow off the mark! All men (and women like me!) will love the sound it makes as you accelerate up through the gears!
However, as well as being a sporty "toy" ... ...practical side as well. Not being as low or compact as the celica means you can easliy fit in a family of four, or possibly 5 although if person number 5 was an adult you might not want to be travelling too far!
The boot is a good size too, which is essential if you either have kids or dogs!
The gear box has a lovely sporty feel to it, the only thing I didnt like about it is that it is quite difficult to select reverse, but that might just be me ...

The Corolla Choice
Advantages: great gas mileage, comfortability Disadvantages: non-automatic
...would forever stick with the Toyota brand. It would sound like it placed a great impression on me, and it did. I love the Corolla and everything it has to offer. I will be purchasing a new car soon, which will be...that's right. I will be purchasing the new 2007 Corolla SE, which is the sportier version. The only thing this one lacked was not having a sunroof, cruise control, or an automatic engine. In any event, making the purchase will be one that ...

Toyota Corolla 1.3XLi
Advantages: Nippy, economical, reliable, ggod instrument layout Disadvantages: Maybe a little cramped for the taller person
...up all they say about Toyota build quality as I didn't have an ounce of bother with the car in all the time I had her, furhter to that as I knew the previous owner I can also say they had no problems with breakdowns either. This is the sort of car you drive and enjoy driving.
I have no problem in recommending this car to anyone - I was very sorry when I was forced to change, further disappointed when I was forced to buy a different brand due to ...

Toyota corolla T3
Advantages: spacious, easy handling, great road grip to name a few. Disadvantages: exterior body isn't that durable
i bought a toyota corolla t3 hatchback 3 years ago as it seemed the right choice. After buying this car, we weren't disappointed at all. Evertyhing from the chasis of the car to the quality of the engine was immaculate. the space is enough for 5 people to get in comfortably and the ride will always be as as smooth as ever. Just what you would expect from a toyota car. The road grip is excellent and the power steering makes its handling effortless. ...
