Small car, big car thinking
Advantages: Space, features, fuel consumption, refined, quality of finish, reliable, safe Disadvantages: Can't see the bonnet from the drivers seat
...Fiesta, Volkswagen Polo & the Toyota Yaris. I chose the Yaris purely as it was good looking, roomy, reliable & cheap to insure & run.
There are a number of different engine options including the 1000cc model, 1300cc & 1400cc diesel. I would have loved a diesel but most places selling them were asking about £1000 more than the 1300cc version, so for me the 1300cc was the choice.
HISTORY OF THE YARIS
The original Yaris won the International Car ... ...space inside thanks to the Toyota engineers designing some clever ideas.
If you look at he profile of the model you’ll notice the bonnet is very short, the engineers have designed the car to have a ‘cab forward’ design where by the engine is tucked under the line of the windscreen giving the car a short bonnet length.
It does leave the room under the bonnet for the mechanics a little tight but frees up space inside. The Toyota engineers also designed ...

THE ONLY BIG/SMALL CAR FOR ME
Advantages: STYLISH; RELIABLE; COMFORTABLE; VFM Disadvantages: MULTI-MODE TRANSMISSION
...multi-mode transmission offered in the TOYOTA YARIS 1.3. Here was a clutch less gearbox that offered the total convenience of fully automatic transmission, coupled with the more personal control of the self-selection of gears at a flick of the stick. This factor, conjoined with a particularly tasty showroom deal, found us proud owners of this stylish looking car. You might ask that after 15 months and 11,000 miles am I happy with my choice? On the ... ...makes one feel like a learner driver.
Offsetting this one weakness against the many plus factors that grace the TOYOTA YARIS 1.3, I must say that overall I am happy with my choice and would have few reservations is recommending this vehicle to other potential purchasers. **************************** ...

Superb Economical Car
Advantages: Great Reliability, Low Depreciation, Spacious Interior, Low Running Costs, Low Petrol Consumption Disadvantages: None spring to mind
...and legroom in the car. Toyota had a stroke of genius when they put in a back seat that could move forwards and backwards like the two front seats, allowing you to set the rear seat leg room/boot space ratio to how you want. With the seat pushed back its furthest, the amount of leg room in the back is amazing for a small car.
Perhaps the only thing that lets the Yaris down is how much they cost. On one hand, this is a good thing as they don't depreciate ...

I love my Yaris T Sport :)
Advantages: Everything Disadvantages: Nothing
I own this car in bright red and I ADORE IT!!! I had a basic Yaris before this ... no power steering, no electric windows ... yes you may think 'from the stone age?' but I loved it so. Nevertheless, I upgraded my Yaris to a Yaris T-sport at the end of last year, It was the BEST thing I have ever done. The light steering, the electric windows of course made me love this car ... but the real gushing came at the sporty and sleek exterior of the car. ...

Great First Car
Advantages: Resonably fast, nice inside, looks great. Disadvantages: My gearbox
I have has a Yaris TS for a couple of years, I had it for my first car. With the hours I spent at Tesco working through my A-Levels I wasn't going to settle for a 1.1 like my (soon to be envious) friends.
Anyway I had my eye on one of these for a while, and when I finally found one I wasn't disappointed! I had to travel a couple of hundred miles to find one, as they aren't common cars. I guess this is because they were pricey when new. I had driven ... ...different kettle of fish to that!
Looks - This looks nothing like a standard Yaris, the bodykit, spoiler and sideskirts coupled with the lowered suspension and 15" alloys immediately set this aside from the rest. I love the way it looks, especially in the Thunder Grey which I have. It has a gold flake undercoat, so in the direct sunlight it turns a Bronze Colour. Amazingly, this car does turn heads, as many people haven't seen them on the road.
