Toyota Corolla 1.6 VVT-i Estate

Originally we had a Polo by VW, it was a very nice, nippy little car, the pleasure you got with it when starting at traffic lights and over-taking the Jaguar next to you. But we got rid of it as our need for space, and Air-con grew, after looking around at many makes, including Mazda, BMW, VW, and Lotus We decided to get a Toyota Corolla, as it was reliable, and seemed very comfortable. I have had the vehicle about 18months now, So far I have found it fairly reliable,mind it has a service after 12months came back as dirty as it went in,if not worse. However the Boot is terrible to shut it is only because their is a light on the dash that you can tell if it is shut or not. (a pain when your wife has to get out to shut it after all she put the shopping in). The Agent told me they had fixed it. Yes OK. I find it does not hold the road particularly well when going around bends. The price is very HIGH when you look at what you actually get for it. The Air conditioning is not very ... more
