Advantages Advantages total reliability with perfomance to match

Disadvantages Disadvantages the bodywork is showing signs off age.

I bought my beautiful Toyota Corolla GTI when it was a year old in 1991, having done nearly 30K in that fist year. Since then I have had virtually trouble free motoring with the exception of a little rust round the edge of the electric sun roof which was repaired by Toyota under its 3 year/60,000 miles no quibble guarantee. Advantages Advantages Reliability , Specification

Disadvantages Disadvantages Slow, Small, Ugly Tail, Fuel Economy,

You can floor the peddle in fifth on the motorway and go no faster until an obliging hill hoves into view. This car is fundamentally underpowered. Given any situation where a short burst of acceleration is needed to avoid danger, the Corolla reacts like a comatose Sloth. Add to this a wife, three children and a host of shopping/luggage, you can imagine the result. I opted for the Corolla as I wanted a Diesel for the ... more
