Get one of these cars! The mark 2 Toyota Supra is an awesome beast. The 3.0 litre, 24 valve, turbo charged V6 engine give almost Ferrari performance at Ford Escort prices. Get the 4 speed automatic version for added refinement with very little performance loss over the manual gearbox. Now adays you can pick up this motorway burner for as little as £4,000 for a 10 year old model with 70,000 on the clock which is great value when you consider what you get and when new would have cost you over £27,000. You get electric windows and mirrors, air conditioning and CD/Radio/Cassette as standard in all Supras with some coming with heated seats too. The massive bonnet hides away the awesome engine making it look slightly American but with a definite Japanesse slant, and with it being Japanesse you can count on excellent reliability. Most of the body panels are plastic/fibre glass so you can forget about rust too!
OK it's not as nice as the latest mark 3 Twin Turbo Supra but then they cost £35,000 new with the cheapest second hand model being about £13,000, which is what I paid for my Mark 2 five years ago with 30,000 on the clock. It's never broken down or needed anything major replacing at any of its services. In fact only problem with these beasts is the slightly too high cost of servicing them but it's still way cheaper than a Jag service!
If you can afford the insurance (it's group 18, out of 20!) you'll get an awesome beast that will go for ever and get you there quickly, and the girlies love 'em!

i love cars, passionate about them, performance cars to be exact, the Supra has to be one of the ultimate driving performance cars of all time,i bought my toyota supra twin turbo engine SZ model about nine months ago,the sheer performance of the engine is just amazing, out of this world i tell you,the looks certainly turn heads with its factory standard looks, even turn more heads if you have a bodykit on it.i certainly recommend it to anybody that has less than £8000 on them and wants a high perfomance engine and the looks to go with it,forget the ferraris, porsches and the subaru imprezas,i personally have smoked them all and leave them gushing and coughing in my smoke.thumbs up and i will buy another one again,i heard they are bringing Supras back in 2006,i cant wait....will empty my savings for it.
