~0~ Bruin Travel High Chair ~0~ At the same time as buying a baby walker ( see next op ) , we also invested in this high chair. At a little over six months old Cerys , our grand-daughter has rapidly grown up , and being on solids for just over two months now with finger feeding now habitual , a high chair was now essential . Previously we had used the baby bouncer and of late had been chasing her around the room , spoon in hand , as she navigated furniture et al in previously mentioned baby walker. Whilst at Toys R Us ( Cardiff ) , we spotted the Bruin Travel High Chair , priced at just £24.99 ... more

Advantages Advantages easy to clean, spacious tray

Disadvantages Disadvantages you wouldn't fit it in a mini

I was actually given one of these so I don't know the actual price but I think it's about £25 from Babies R Us. We use this in the front room because the kitchen is too cold to feed a little one at the moment. It folds up by pressing on two spring loaded catches and the legs close towards each other. The chair collapses on itself. To open it, just pull the front legs apart and swing the tray up and over to clip onto the front bar. The harness is a 5 point harness but I found the front clip a bit too hard to do up and have caught my fingers a few times. The seat is wipe clean, in a blue and green ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap and easy to keep clean

Disadvantages Disadvantages would not be able to travel with it

I bought this highchair for my son 2 years ago,he is now 2 1/2 and im handing it down to my sister who is due her baby next month.but before i say my goodbyes i thought it only fair to give it a review,as its been such a good buy. We bought this highchair from babies r us,which is a part of the chain toys'r'us,and we paid £25 for it.It is supposed to be a travel highchair,it folds down lovely, but to be fair you'd have to have a pretty big car to take this with you wherever you went. The highchair comes in a yellow check design, with farmyard animals on and has a blue harness,it is good because ... more

Advantages Advantages Lightweight, folds away, good sized tray

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Assembly not easy

My daughter is nearly 2 and has been using this highchair for about 15 months and it is still in a really good condition. After looking at Toys R Us's extensive highchair selection I chose this quite basic one, mainly due to our tight budget and also another mum in the shop reccommended it. I remember we got it home and putting it together waas quite hard as the legs have a very tight fitting. But you do want it to be safe so that is also a positive point. I wasn't able to assemble it on my own though and had to enlist the help of someone with a bit of brute strength - my husband! It is a nice ... more

Advantages Advantages collapsable, comes to pieces,5 point harness, wipe clean seat and tray

Disadvantages Disadvantages doesn't fold flat completely when all parts are attached, doesn't secure when folded

I only bought this product a few weeks ago. I was surprised how sturdy it was when compared with more expensive, brand-name products. When in his old highchair, my son would rock forcefully sideways in an attempt to make it topple over (he once managed it too, he survived unhurt too!). He has frequently tried this since replacing his old highchair with the Toy's R us Bruin Travel Highchair, but to no avail. This one just won't budge! I find it especially useful that the tray unclips and folds over to the rear, making it easier to put my son in and take him out of it. The 5 point harness is very ... more
