Advantages: Prompt, friendly efficient service
Disadvantages: Way too easy to spend your hard earned cash with them

For a while now I've been trying to design my new kitchen and have been putting off getting a fridge freezer till I'd decided whether it was going to be built in or free standing. I went to the usual places (Comet, Curry's etc) and it seemed that built in appliances were over priced and none of them seemed have an energy efficiency above B so reluctantly I decided to go for free standing. ...found that Appliances Direct had the best price. They charge for delivery but even taking that into consideration they still came out cheapest. I went to their website and before I placed my order decided to have a look at what other items they had. I'm so glad I did. They had a built in F/F which as far as I can ascertain is as good as, if not better than all the over-priced bad efficiency ones I had found at Curry's etc but costing a fraction ... Read review

Excellent. My wife and I visited show room just of Junction 28 in complete disagreement as to what type of Fridge Freezer we needed to order. Really helpful sales staff guided us through the options and then left us to make our decision without any pressure. We then ordered product and as promised it arrived within 10 days and the deliver driver even gave me a call to confirm he would be arriving in c.30 minutes time. Good product range, good price and good service.

Advantages: Price, choice and delivery slots/schedule
Disadvantages: possbly longer till delivery than others but they don't hide the fact

...read the poor reviews of Trade Appliances prior to finally committing to placing my order. I was rather worried but after sitting back and thinking about it, i remembered that logically speaking, people rarely leave good reviews - on the whole. Look up reviews for any high street retailer - most of them are crap - at least 50% and if those figures were really a fair indication of what to expect - they'd all be bust. We ordered 6 appliances of Trade ...
...asking for a utility bill for our name and address - not a problem - we were expecting it as their website says to if like us, you want delivery to an address different to your billing address. We paid on a Sunday - after 9 working days had elsapsed we got a phone call asking if they could deliver all appliances two working days later. Absolutely fine. Gave us a morning slot and said the drivers would call when they were an hour away on the day. ... Read review

Absolute rubbish! Ordered from them over 3 weeks ago... still not heard anything back... Whenever I ring i'm placed on hold for 30min... and then told someone will call me back (which they never do). STAY AWAY Update: They have now informed me that there is a problem with the manufacturer... and that I will have to wait another 2 weeks for delivery! You can find similar priced items at Comet \ Currys \ Dixons... they might be slightly more expensive... but its well worth the extra the money and less pain.
